教学目标
学生能够理解故事大意并分角色朗读故事;优生能在教师的引导下复述故事大意。
学生故事情境中和在教师的帮助下理解情景词汇: advice, manual,
screen, accident, explain, switch, should等。
能够在故事情境中理解如何寻求和表达建议的方法并简单运用;体会should的用法。
能够在遇到问题时积极寻求他人帮助并解决问题;养成诚实做人、助人为乐的品质;能够合理安排时间。
学情分析
有90%的学生喜欢学习故事教学的内容,因为学生认为这部分知识创设了学习英语的真实情景,而且在画面的帮助下,比较容易理解,能够知道故事的大概意思。喜欢在课上模仿录音的朗读,体验英语学习的韵律美。但是有将近一半的学生认为把故事讲出来还有一定的困难,缺乏足够的信心
重点难点
理解故事大意。初步朗读故事,部分学生能够分角色朗读故事。
初步理解句型:What should I do You should …来表达故事中人物的建议。
教学过程
【导入】Warming up
Guessing game.
Talk about the computer parts.

Step1:理解大意
1. Talk about Picture1

2. 整体视听,理解故事大意。
T: Let’s listen.

1. Who gives advice
T: Daniel has a big problem. He asks his friends for some
advice. Who gives Daniel advice
(出示人物图片)
2. Underline the advice
What advice do they give him
T: Let’s watch the story. Please listen and under line their advice.
(教师示范)
3. Read the advice in pairs
4. Check the answers.
出示所有表达建议的词条。
指名挑出朋友的建议并贴在相应人物的后面。
Step3: 分段学习故事
1. 理解并朗读图2、3、4
T: Look at the picture2,

三Read the story
1、播放课件,学生整体跟读。
2、Read the story in roles.
学生分组分别扮演Daniel, Ken, Lisa, Sue, 电脑课件放旁白。
3、小组内朗读故事。
4、展示。
