Unit 3 Redrock Bay Health Club
教学目标
1.理解并熟练运用课时话题下的动词名词搭配形式,结合所学be doing结构表达自己近期的安排,并且能够运用所学过的一般将来时的其他句型结构与同伴交流最近几天的计划或安排,表达自我意愿。
2.积极参与课堂活动,借助板书初步了解梳理归纳话题、结构的方法。
将所学语言用于实际生活,学会合理安排活动计划,在学习中乐于分享,善于合作。
本课的教学重点是理解和运用单元话题下的词组和句型开展交际活动,教学难点是运用所学句型与已学句型相结合表达活动计划,阐述观点。
学情分析
六年级的学生在这一年当中将面临双重的转变,首先是兴趣的变化,更加关注符合他们年龄特点的话题,更喜欢与他人谈论自己生活,创想未来等等,其次,知识与能力的提升也是学生在毕业之际将要面临的另一个转变,在一年的时间里学生们要复习和归纳整个六年所学习到的知识并且展开运用及提升语用能力,对于学生来说既是挑战也是机会。老师需要抓住学生的这些兴趣点与困惑点,采取多样有效的方式方法帮助学生梳理并构建系统的知识体系。
基于对教材内容的把握和学生情况的分析,设定了以下三个层次的课时教学目标。
重点难点
本课的教学重点是理解和运用单元话题下的词组和句型开展交际活动,教学难点是运用所学句型与已学句型相结合表达活动计划,阐述观点。
教学过程
【导入】
播放最强大脑的片头,设置最强大脑电视活动的语境。
T:Today we will have a super brain show to review unit 3. I am a hostess. Please help me welcome a handsome host.
(视频)Alex: Hi, my friends. Today we have 3 activities for you. After the show, you will have the super listening, perfect reading and thinking and friendly talking. You will build the team spirit.
T: I think that is a good chance for you, right I will help you. Through the show, we will review and do some activities. We will find the kids who will do the best. Let’s say our motto. Do our best.
Presentation
T:Shall we warm up our brain Let’s enjoy a game. 介绍Bingo游戏规则,两组互相提问关于单元主题故事的问题,答对在9宫格上积分,谁先得到Bingo赢得比赛。
What are the pictures about (黑板上呈现图片形成九宫格swimming, have a dream, singing, make the bed, walk the dog, skiing, play tennis, play the guitar )
T: Why do Bingo Kids go to the health club
S: Because yesterday Ken received an invitation. (选择图片make the bed)
T: What is Charlie doing tomorrow
S: Charlie is going bowling tomorrow.(选择图片do karate)
两组之间互相提问、回答,通过此种方式复习正在进行时表将来,在做游戏的同时,把书上练习的图片投射在黑板上。
【活动】Activity One
Activity One: Super Listening
T: Mr. Yin, what do you think of our friends
(视频)Alex: You did a great job just now, you will have a super listening. Are you ready
Reading the listening tips: 1.Guess the answer. 2. Discuss in pairs. 3. Check by listening.
学生打开书结合听力策略完成练习第一题 Listen to the dialog and fill in the blanks.
T: Who is talking What is number one’s answer
S: Are you playing tennis tomorrow
T: Why do you think of the answer
S:Because first Lisa wants to play tennis, but she can’t find a partner. She has to learn the karate.
教师示范后,学生两人合作预测答案后学生逐步推测听力的答案。
T:Shall we check by listening
学生根据听力内容检测预测,并把答案写在书上。
学生两人合作订正答案。
【活动】Activity Two

T: Let’s look at the pictures from exercise 2. What are they about

教师引导学生把书上的图片归类后完成书上的连线练习,然后以组为单位订正答案。

S: They are verbs/nouns.
T: We call them verb noun collocations.动名词搭配。 Go swimming, go skiing. They all have go. What else can we say with go

S: Do karate. / Do homework. /Do housework.
T: Let’s enjoy a game. You will practice in groups. Try to say as more verb noun collocations as you can.

学生六人一组头脑风暴,描述以 go do make play have为开头的动词词组,为后面的抽签竞赛做准备。随后通过抽签的方式,被抽中的同学上前再写出一个单词eat后,把词卡分配给不同的组,小组轮流说出不同的动词词组。

学生两人一组,结合黑板上总结的句型结构,谈论自己的白日梦。
