教学目标

学情分析
教材分析:北师大版第七册第四单元安排的是对日期、年龄表达法的学习。本课是第四单元的第一课时,为故事教学。本课故事由一件生日礼物展开,Mocky误认为是Ken的生日,Ann, Ken和Mocky三人逐一查看日历并使用When is your birthday It's…. 和How old are you I'm…years old.句型询问和回答生日和年龄,当三人得知了各自的生日与年龄后,故事的结果终于揭晓:礼物是Ann和Ken准备给Mocky的惊喜。故事下面的语篇是对本故事的叙述,它采用的是过去时态,目的是为了复习、巩固前几个单元所学的一般过去时态的表达方法。
学生分析:本课的教学对象是五年级的学生,他们通过四年的英语学习,对英语保持着浓厚的兴趣,他们乐于在英语课堂中积极思考,主动参与并与他人合作。在故事中出现了两个交际句型及应答:When is your birthday?It's….以及How old are you I'm…years old.其中How old are you?I'm…years old.为一年级学习过的句型,他们已经能够自由进行询问和回答了。When is your birthday?中的疑问代词when学生也在四年级有所接触,知道它是询问时间的疑问词。在月份的表达上,教师在平日的教学中对学生渗透过月份的表达法,这些为本课的学习做了很好的铺垫。在表达日期的序数词上,学生在第三单元学习了1-10的序数词的表达法,但是本课中出现的12th, 19th, 25th学生还没有学过,因此学生可能会出现认读困难的问题。
