一、单元内容分析

单元概述 本单元围绕“Summer Vacation”这一主题，学习与暑假活动相关的英语表达，涉及一般将来时。本单元共两个语篇。语篇一通过Yang Ming和Sally的对话，了解Sally的暑假计划。带领学生了解一个西方国家--英国，及主要的标志性建筑。语篇二通过Wang Tao和Julia的对话，分别了解到两位同学的暑假计划。进一步了解我们的首都--北京，激发学生的爱国热情。通过本单元的学习，还可以引导学生为将来的事情从多方面制定计划。
单元课时划分 本单元计划课时数为二课时，将Part C的歌谣与歌曲及部分的练习融入到Part A和Part B的组织教学中。
各课时的联系 课时一与课时二为平行关系，通过两个语篇介绍了中西方两个国家，通过文化对比，激发学生热爱祖国的情怀。
二、学情分析与教具准备
主题学情分析 学生在第四单元时，对交通工具的词汇和句型已经深入学习，为本课的学习做好了铺垫。有些活动类词汇在之前的教材中也已学习，为本课的学习打下了比较好的语言基础。

三、单元学习目标

文化品格目标 通过本单元的学习，认识英国及其标志性建筑；能深入了解首都北京，并激发出强烈的爱国情怀。
