Step 1 lead in1. Ask students to read the sentences in the grammar box and check the homework.2. Then show some pictures of the activity and say :I'm going to...3. Ask students to use "I'm going to..." The structure gives their resolutions for the next year.Step 2 Prepare for the task1. Point out the resolutions and ask different students to explain what each resolution means in their own words.2. Point out the boxes next to each picture and ask students to read the phrases.3. Ask the students to match the phrases with the pictures.4. Ask two students to read the sample dialogue to the class.5. Then ask students to find a partner to have a conversation with.6. Ask several pairs of students to speak their conversation to the class.Step 3:While-task1. Read the instructions to point out the phrases listed in activity 1a.2. Play the recording. Listen and circle the phrases they hear in activity 1a.3. Check your answers.4. Play the recording. Have students write their answers on the blank line after each person's name.5. Have each of the three s's write an answer on the board.6. Check your answers.Step 4 Perform post-processing1. Have two students read the sample dialogue.2.
