Step 1 ImportGreetings. Ask two students to demonstrate their conversation about how to make a banana milkshake or fruit salad.Step 2 Before the task1. Review the grammar box. Ask the students to say the questions and answers.2. Write the words "countable" and "uncountable" on the blackboard.3. Ask one or two students to explain the meaning of these words.4. Pay attention to verbs. For example, there are imperative sentences. Ask some students to say such sentences.5. Summarize "how many" and "how much."Step 3: Task in progress1. Ask students to pay attention to 3a.2. Let the students go through the five questions first. Then circle the correct word in each question.3. Check your answers.4. Point out the picture. Ask the students to tell what happened in each picture.Review the words: popcorn, corn, salt, to the machine.5. Have students complete the questions and answers. And then match them.6. Check your answers.7. Have the students practice reading in pairs. Then ask one or two pairs of students to present the conversation to the class. Tell the class how to make popcorn.Step 4 After the task1. Read the instructions and the content in the right box.2. Have students work in pairs to complete 3c. A person asks how to do one of the things listed in the box. The other one answered the question. And then switch.3. Ask a group of students to show their conversations.Step 5. Homework1. Write a few sentences about how to borrow books from the school library.2. Do the exercises on page 54 of the student book.
