教材分析 This teaching period mainly deal with new words and reading. Students are expected to master the new words and can talk about the past behavior with correct sentence patterns. The teachers are expected to enable students to master some reading skills--skimming.
核心素养教学目标 1.Knowledge objectives: ①Enable students to acquire the basic usage of some words and phrases. ② Use the pattern “used to do sth.” to describe past behavior.2.Skill objectives: ①Predict the topic of reading text by observing the title and picture. ②Understand the main idea of the passage by skimming and looking for the main passage.3. Emotional objectives: Adhere to your hobbies and strive to develop them into a career.4.Thinking quality objectives: Talk about their opinions on ideal jobs.
重点 Understand the structure and content of the main reading text, and learn the core words and phrases.
难点 Understand the process of the author developing a hobby into a career.
