One possible version:
A Disabled Person I Respect Most
There are many respectable disabled people in the world. As for me, Stephen Hawking is the person I respect most.
The first time I heard of Stephen Hawking, I was moved by his devotion to the research. As a physicist, he was famous for his groundbreaking work on black holes and relativity. He was also the author of the best-seller A Brief History of Time. However, he was in poor health condition, wheel-chair bound and speechless. Only when he turned to the computer was it possible for him to speak, read and write. It was his courage and persistence that inspired people across the world.
In my opinion, no one could match him in the contributions to science. He was a great scientist and a legend and his work and legacy will exert a powerful/profound influence on the world for a long time.

W: What’s going on I see flashing lights up ahead. It must be an accident of some kind, because I see some policemen on the road.
M: You know this part of the road has always been dangerous. There’s an accident at least once a year. I wonder when they’re finally going to put in a traffic light.
W: It certainly doesn’t help because this road is so dark. You can hardly see.
M: Do you think we should turn around and go the long way round It might be faster.

M: I don’t think I’d recommend that hotel to anyone.
W: You can’t expect luxury for that price. Anyway, it was easy to get into the city center to see all the sights.

W: The lady on the reception desk was nice. And you must admit, she gave us a room overlooking the garden at the back.

W: Sounds interesting. What other stories like that do you like
M: I also like Watchmen by Alan Moore from 1987, and The X-Men by Chris Claremont from 1981. They also deal with adult themes.

Children are naturally curious about the world around them. When Chase Hansen was only 4 years old, he encountered homeless people for the first time while shopping with his dad at an outdoor mall in Salt Lake City, Nevada. It’s no wonder that he had a lot of questions.
“Chase looked at me and said, ‘Dad, who are these people Why don’t they have a place to stay ’” John Hansen recalled. “After I explained that they had run into hard times and were homeless, I knew that we were looking at an educational opportunity. My son wanted to help them.”
The father and son convinced a local Jamba Juice store to donate more than 100 smoothies(果汁)and the pair gave them out to homeless people in a park.
After that, they came up with an even better idea. “I wanted a way to get to know people better, “Chase said. ”So, my dad and I decided to start taking some of the homeless people we’d met out to lunch.
“A lot of people walk right past homeless people and don’t see the person,” he said. “I know now that they’re people just like us. They want to make a connection and not feel so alone in the world.”
Hundreds of lunches later, they run a self-funded charity called Project Empathy(同情)to help inspire others to meet and to create relationships with the homeless people in their neighborhoods. The organization provides a list of resources that can help homeless people with food, housing and employment.
John said that what started as a way to spend quality time with his son has turned into a passion for both of them. “Chase and I realized that the country needed an army of people to practice empathy, and that by doing something as simple as taking a homeless person to lunch, we could maybe inspire others to do the same, ”he said. “Any time you can help to give someone a voice, it’s empowering.

Henry Cavendish was born in Nice. France, on October 10,1731, the oldest son of Lord Charles Cavendish and Lady Anne Grey, who died a few years after Henry was born. As a youth he attended Dr.Newcomb’s Academy in Hackney, England. He entered Peterhouse, Cambridge, 1749, but left after three years without taking a degree.
Cavendish returned to London, England to live with his father. There, Cavendish built himself a laboratory and workshop. When his father died in 1783. During his lifetime, Cavendish made striking discoveries in chemistry, mainly between 1766 and 1788, and in electricity, between 1771 and 1788. In 1783, he published a study of the means of determining the freezing point of mercury (水银).In 1784. Cavendish determined the make-up of water, showing that it was a combination of oxygen and hydrogen. Cavendish’s most celebrated investigation was that on the density (密度) of the earth. In 1798, he published a single famous paper on the density of the earth.
Spending his whole life in the laboratory and library, Cavendish’s life was quite simple. He died in London on February 24,1810. But because he had a low regard for glory, he cared little about publishing his results and getting priority for discovery, and much of his work remained unpublished. This new packaging material looks like conventional plastic, but it’s actually made from fish waste and algae(海藻)—unlike plastic, if it escapes into the ocean, a fish could eat it safely. The material, called MarinaTex, is the winner of this year’s James Dyson Award.
“It began with my desire to work with waste,” says Lucy Hughes, a recent graduate from University of Sussex, who once visited a fish processing factory to see the massive quantity of waste generated by the industry and found new ways to use it. She focused on fish skins and scales(鳞片). “When I had it in my hands, I realized this has got potential,” she says. “It s super strong and flexible.” Hughes spent months experimenting with fish waste in her kitchen, running more than 100 experiments to find a binder(粘合剂) and a process that could hold together the proteins in the fish skins and scales.“I had a lot of failed attempts. A lot of things either were too easily broken or too soft or easily went bad,” she says. She finally found a type of algae that can be locally got.
The material can be used to replace oil-based plastic in packaging such as bags or the half-transparent windows used to show products in boxes. As her research continues, Hughes says that she’ll be studying how MarinaTex works and how long it could be used to store food.
Unlike some “composable” plastics, which need to be processed in an industrial composting(堆肥) facility to break down, the new material can break down in four to six weeks in a backyard compost bin. “All the ingredients are food-grade safe,” Hughes says. “So, this breaks down much like a piece of food would break down.
32.Why did MarinaTex win this year s James Dyson Award
A.It doesn’t go into the ocean.
B.It is environmentally-friendly.
C.It doesn’t produce any waste.
D.It doesn’t look like conventional plastic.

A.How long it takes for MarinaTex to break down.
B.How long MarinaTex can be used to store food.

D.Whether MarinaTex is better than half-transparent windows.
35.Where is the text most likely to appear
