(1)play—played；wait—waited；visit—visited
一般动词后加 ed。
(2)like—liked；practice—practiced
以不发音的字母e结尾的动词后加 d。
(3)study—studied；carry—carried
以辅音字母加y结尾的动词变y为i再加 ed。
(4)stop—stopped；plan—planned；shop—shopped
以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词要双写后面的辅音字母后加 ed。
(1)我昨天给奶牛挤奶了。I milked the cow yesterday.

一般过去时常表示在过去某一时间发生的动作或存在的状态。一般过去时常和表示过去的时间状语连用，如just now，yesterday，last等。

一般疑问句：Did＋主语＋动词原形＋其他？
肯定回答为：Yes，主语＋did.
否定回答为：No，主语＋ didn't.
否定句：主语＋didn't＋动词原形＋其他．
