连词:是用于连接词与词、短语与短语或句与句的词。
and: 表示顺接的逻辑关系,含义是“和;并且;而(且);同时”等。如:
1. We go to the same school and we love soccer.
2. I have three ping-pong balls and two ping-pong bats.
3. I like basketball and ping-pong ball.
but: 表示转折的逻辑关系,含义是“但是;然而”等。前后连接的句子要用逗号隔开。如:
1. I love sports, but I don’t play them.
2. I don’t have a soccer ball, but my brother Alan does.
3. Tom has a baseball, but he doesn’t have a baseball bat.
