一、教学目标
1.知识目标:掌握重点单词photo、stay、week,句型:Where did you go When did you go there Did you go with your parents
2.能力目标:让学生能够初步运用一般过去式询问别人的旅行经历或者向别人叙述自己的旅行经历,形成一定的语言表达能力,初步学会英语用进行交谈和表述。
3.情感目标
(1)培养学生重视亲情、传承中华美德这一情感意识。
(2)开拓学生视野,增长人文地理知识,激发学生热爱中国、祖国大好河山、增强民族自豪感等的情感意识。
二、学情分析
1.学生经历要素优势:本节课以travel为话题,孩子们都有出游经历,并且对于自己过去的经历都有很深刻的印象,对本节课的讨论能够提供足够的素材。
2.学生心理要素优势:在前期的学习中学生已初步形成了一定的学习态度,部分学生随着自主、自律能力的增强,出现了意识较强的学习动机。
3.学生语言学习优势:五年级的学生通过之前的学习已经有了一定的语言知识储备,对于一般过去时有了学习的体验,在四年级下册学过了动词一般过去式的规则变化,如phoned, walked, talked等。这些学习经历已经让学生大脑中有了关于一般过去时的知识储备。班里大约80%以上的学生能基本掌握动词过去式的变化,比如你问go的一般过去式,孩子们都知道是went,但这种知识是没有意义的知识。大约有20%的孩子能初步用一般过去时表达相对完整的、有意义的句子。他们的问答仅仅局限于课本中刚学的几个句子,而不能把以前学过的知识整合运用。比如,在描述过去发生的事情时,往往还会出现语法上的错误,比如, I play football last week. 因此,在本课教学中,我的重要任务就是通过设计贴近现实情境的活动,给学生搭建实现语言运用的支架,让学生充分联系已学知识,实现从语言知识到语言运用的目的。
三、重点难点
认读和运用句子:Where did you go When did you go to … We went there last year. Did you go with your … Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
本节课的重点是学会用过去式来询问别人的旅行经历,以便使自己进一步了解别人的旅行细节。本课的难点是培养学生能够运用过去式来谈论别人或者自己的旅行经历。
四、教学过程
Step1.Warm-up
1. Greetings

Ss: Yes.
T: Do you like travelling I like travel too. This is Hainan. It’s in the south of China. I went there last year. It’s very far. I went there by plane .I went there with my mother. Hainan is very beautiful .I stayed there for a week. A week means seven days.Show a map of China , Ask the Ss to find out Hainan.
Practice the sentence: It’s in the south/north/east/west of China.
T: We like traveling. Lingling like traveling too .Last year Lingling went to Xinjiang. Let’s learn more about Lingling’s travel to Xinjiang.
Step2. Learn the text.
1. First time: listen to the CD and try to find out the answers to these four questions.
2. Second time: listen and read the text.

3. Third time: Follow the CD and read the text. Read by yourself for 2 minutes.

本课的教学内容主要功能是谈论旅游见闻。主要运用句型Where did you go Did you go with When did you go to 主要单词travel ,week ,photo, stay. 本课的设计主要运用了“游戏教学法”和“任务型”教学法。
在上课一开始,运用听、说、做的热身活动,既复习了与本课有关的方位词,又为新课做好了铺垫。接下来,让学生边听动听的轻音乐边欣赏优美的风景名胜图画,听前,并提出问题:What can you see 学生听得认真,看得专注,并不时发出惊叹之声,既集中了学生注意力,也使气氛变得轻松,学生学习兴趣自然调动起来。结合学生回答,很自然地引出新单词travel、photo,和新句型where did you go When did you go to Did you go with your 在句型操练环节,和学生一起玩“东南西北”游戏,因此避免了大量的机械操练,学生的积极性都到了空前的提高。
在课文学习过程中,采用听、读、练的方式来提高学生的语言理解和运用能力。学习课文之后,给学生布置了“利用相片谈旅游经历”的任务,由于前面充分的铺垫,整个任务环节完成的很好,学生又多了一次与人分享的机会。
整堂课中,坚持“发展为本”的原则,在时间、空间上为学生提供充分条件,注重教学内容与学生的生活经验相结合,引导学生多思、多说、多练,使学生实现更多的信息交流。 本课也有不足之处:由于本课容量大,句型多又涉及到不同的疑问词,因此部分学生掌握不够扎实,还需下节课继续复习巩固
