1. Think about what questions to ask and write them down in advance.
2. Write brief notes only, not whole sentences.
3. Make meaningful notes. You need to be able to understand them later.
4. Use contractions and abbreviations whenever possible. Listen to a radio programme and
complete the answers to the questions. What things might worry you when you move to new place?
