本单元的写作任务是写一封申请信,申请信是书信的一种,主要以介绍个人情况为主,包括自己的姓名、年龄、身高、健康状况、业余爱好、特长、工作态度及人际关系等。一般来说,需注意以下几点:
一、篇章结构
1.说明信息的来源,比如从报纸上、网站上得知或经朋友介绍等;
2.介绍个人情况,包括自己的工作经历、专长及爱好等;
3.表达自己对申请对象的期盼;
4.用简明的句子表明自己的能力及奋斗目标。
写作指导
二、注意事项
1.语气要诚挚友好,千万不要表现出强求的意思,诸如must,should等一类词语尽量少出现;
2.对于申请的内容和原因应尽量写清楚;
3.期望得到回复的心情一定要表达出来,诸如“I would be grateful if you could...”一类的句式用在申请信上是再合适不过的。
