Nowadays, almost every person wishes to adapt to a healthy lifestyle. 16 Here are the top ways to build, stick to and maintain healthy practices in your daily life.
Set your mind right. Most people end up making impulsive (冲动的)decisions and actions to improve their lifestyles. However, a long-term lifestyle plan requires repeated thinking, research, and well-thought decisions. 17
Value small steps. Instead of setting huge tasks to achieve your goals, you must take it to small steps at a time. 18 If your goal is to get fit and healthy, you can start with a 10-minute run five days a week. Further, try increasing the intensity (强度)of your steps to make the journey both enjoyable as well as smooth.
Track your progress. Do you end up working all day long without analyzing the tasks that you could accomplish 19 You can make the most of the tracking techniques available for this purpose. Whether it’s a journaling method or using a tracker App to monitor your progress, any technique would work. Make it a habit to analyze your progress every week and work on the shortcomings in the next week.
20 If you cannot stick to the goals alone, then find a partner. Working with a partner can not only provide you with a little push, but can be quite fun and rewarding at the same time. Also it motivates you when you don’t feel like working. You can join the gym or work on the homework with your partner.
A.Stick to the goals alone.
B.Find a partner to work with.
C.Tracking your progress is as vital as taking action.

F.Thus sit back and think about the healthy practices you should do.
G.But due to heavy pressure, not many can keep the beneficial practices.
Day 15
Back in January, I was determined to get fit seriously. 21 But then just as I was close to giving up again, I discovered a brilliant new way to make exercise better: by turning it into a video-game.
Zwift is essentially a cycling game that you control by riding your real bike, which is equipped with a device called a turbo-trainer. This makes it like an exercise bike. As you ride, the trainer sends signals to your computer or tablet to control the character on screen. 22 For example, as you’re cycling up a hill in the game, you can actually feel the different levels of resistance on the bike.
After signing up for a 12/month subscription, you can participate in virtual cycle rides in 3D-recreations of real places, like London or in fantastical fictional locations invented by the game designers. 23 As you cycle along The Mall towards Buckingham Palace, other real human cyclists appear alongside you, sharing the journey. Though it is obviously only a game, just seeing the character move is surprisingly motivating.
24 Go a little faster and you’ll be rewarded with a little achievement marker. If you ride harder, you might win a race against another real player and unlock a new item in a regular video game, which can never be matched by a traditional exercise bike.
I’m not the only person who has noticed this. 25 Today there are many other companies chasing the same audience, and they all offer their own unique twists on the formula.
A.Zwift makes it easy to work out.
B.And importantly, you’re not alone.
C.The rest of the tech industry has, too.
D.I played Zwift, a cycling game for training.
E.And then the game sends instructions back to the trainer.
F.Smartly, the tricks of video-games will keep pushing you.
G.This would mean hours’ stretching and sweating each week.
If your books are piled up all over the place or you find yourself always digging through piles looking for that novel you’ve been meaning to read, it may be time to reorganize. 26 .
Organize your books by genre (体裁)
27 . By organizing your books on shelves by genre, you’ll build a mental map of where everything belongs. You also won’t need to worry about putting books back in the perfect place, since a book that belongs on a given shelf can go anywhere on that shelf. Sort them alphabetically
Organize your books by the author’s last name
Sorting by the author’s last name is a classic way to organize. If you have an especially large collection, sorting by author will make it a lot easier to locate a given book when you want it. 28 Just find the “J” section! It doesn’t get much easier than that.
29
For a narrower collection, arranging the books by subject makes sense. If you’re a huge poetry buff, you could separate your Romantic collections, postmodern books, and objectivity poetry. If you’re super into historical nonfiction, give World War I its own shelf, the Civil Rights Movement another shelf, and books about the United Nations in another area.
Organize your books by how much you like them
Put your favorites up top and your least favorites at the bottom. This is going to be totally subjective, but it may be fun to spend an evening taking the books down and assessing how you feel about it. 30 Top shelf it goes! Only hold on to that dusty old dictionary for reference purposes Keep it on the bottom shelf.
A.Organize them by subject
B.Display the books you use the most
C.Did a book completely change your life
D.Look for a book written by James Joyce
E.Want to read the book over and over again
F.Luckily, you have a ton of choices to organize and display them
G.Separating books by types will make you quickly find the book you want
