We stayed here 2 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) years ago and stay here again just this week. We had a great experience last time (except at Johnny Rocket’s). This time the reviews about the hotel are mixed and I was worried. Fortunately, we have a wonderful time. Our room is spacious and clean but the lights in our room are too poor for us to see things clearly. 21教育网
I go with my 3 teenag ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ers and we share the same room for $209 a night. The beds are comfortable. I haven’t had such wonderful sleep for a long time, though the place is very noisy by days. You can hear everything going on in the hallway and people going up and down the stairs. It’s also just because most people have small kids it is pretty quiet by ten or eleven o’clock in the evening. Of course, if you are a late sleeper, it is good luck. The noise starts back up around 7:30-8:00.
The price of food i ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )s much too high at the snack bar and the buffet place. However, you can refill your cup and it is $9 and you get your money’s worth. There are drinking stations throughout the hotel and I’m not kidding you. There are something like 70 different flavors (风味) of coke products. The 3 of us share the cup and get something different each time.
The servants in t ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )he hotel are very friendly. We decides to give Johnny Rocket’s another try even though the recent reviews have been awful and we had a bad experience last time. Everything is great this time. There aren’t too many people this time so we receive quick service. Besides, the food is pretty good. The shakes are amazing but too expensive.
The water park i ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )s fun, more fun for kids under 13 I’d say. It is wet everywhere including the bathrooms so pack flip-flops (凉鞋) or water shoes unless you like walking on a dirty, wet bathroom floor. Some of the water park staff are great, some are stupid. I was concerned that it would be cold since that is what some recent reviewers have said but it isn’t so. It is very hot. The water is heavily chlorinated (加氯消毒). It has to be done so because you know there are so many people and the water is polluted easily. Take a break every couple of hours. Once you stop playing in the water park, take a shower again in the showers and use soap to clean yourself under the running water. If it is easy for your kids to open their eyes underwater, get them wear goggles (潜水镜).
All in all it is a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )great trip this time. I don’t know whether we will be back again when my kids are older teens, but I certainly don’t regret going on this last trip. 21·世纪*教育网

Hippies were in favor of peace, love, and personal freedom over political and social systems. The hippies fashion was popular with the youth across the United States in the 1960s. Hippies fough ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )t back the ugliness of the Second World War and turned the attention of fashion towards natural beauty as much as possible. The youth movement affected the teen fashion industry in a major way. The hippies fashion keeps changing with time, but women who found their own individuality and style in the 1960s have never let it go and passed much of their own hippies influence on to their daughters.

A. The hippies fashion in the 1960s.
B. The hippies dress and hair styles.
C. How hippies movement came about.

F. Picture what you read in your mind.
Better understand and remember
what you read
When you find that ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) you can’t understand what you’re reading or have trouble remembering important information, there are some things you can do to improve your text comprehension and memory. Information that’s particularly difficult to understand may cause a problem for you, but using certain techniques (技巧) can help you remember more, even when a concept is foreign to you.21·cn·jy·com
61. Most people live busy lives and they often have to do multi-task to get everything done. But trying to do too much at one time can hurt your reading comprehension and affect your ability to remember the material you read. Limit your distractions (分心的事物) by reading in a noise-free environment. Turn your cell phone and computer off and try to read when you don’t have distractions from TV or family members. You’ll be more likely to remember information that you read later.
62. Man ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )y people have an easier time understanding and remembering information when they can connect it to their own lives, especially if they are reading about or studying concepts that are complex or abstract (抽象的) like economics or mathematics. Mayo Clinic recommends (建议) tying a difficult concept to a favorite song or familiar concept when you’re having difficulty understanding and recalling something.
63. Remembering information that doesn’t matter to you is considerably more difficult than remembering something that you care about. Relate the information you’re reading to the reason why you’re reading it. When you’re reading something for work, a complex business report for example, you’re probably reading it because it can help you do your job better. Knowing what you’re reading for can help you decide which information to remember, according to the College of St. Benedict at St. John’s University.
64. Visua ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )lization (具体化) is a technique that can help you remember what you’re reading by picturing the outline of information in your mind as you read. Visualization works particularly well with people’s names, which can be recalled by picturing a face or physical characteristics. Dates can often be remembered through visual images of events connected to the date.
65. If you’re having trouble understanding and remembering something that you’re reading, repetition can help. Simply rereading a difficult passage several times may be enough to help you process and remember key information. Restating the information to yourself in your own words can also be helpful.

Dear Mary,
I’m happy that you h ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ave made friends with someone online. It’s really nice to have a friend to share your happiness and sorrow. But I want to remind you that it can be dangerous to make friends online because you don’t know who the one you are chatting with is. She said she was a girl, but maybe the person is a bad man. So I don’t think it is a good idea to see the friend in person.
However, if you i ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nsist on meeting him or her, I suggest you choose public places, such as KFC, as your meeting place, where there are numerous people. Besides, you shouldn’t let out too much of your personal information.
Hope the suggestions above can be of some help.
Yours,
