一、教材分析
本课是外研版小学英语三起点三年级上册第九模块第一单元的内容,具体为介绍类话题,介绍自己的家人。通过任务型教学,做到“词不离句,句不离篇,篇不离用”,边学边巩固,为继续学习打下良好基础。课文情景是Lingling去Sam家做客,Sam向她介绍他的家人这一情景进行教学,并把这一情景回归生活展开运用。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是小学三年级学生,他们刚接触英语,对英语的求知欲很强。他们活泼好动,好表现,但注意力不持久,教师应在课堂上设计生动活泼、形式多样的活动,吸引学生的注意力。所以,基于本课的内容,主要采用任务型教学法,结合情景,穿插游戏教学。
三、教学目标与过程
I.Teaching aims
1.Knowledge aims
1)Master the pronunciations and meanings of mother, father, sister, brother, she, grandpa & grandma.
2)Understand the meanings of that’s.
2.Ability aim
1)Be able to use the pattern “This is ...” to talk about family members.
3.Emotional aim
1)Know the importance of a family and be grateful for what their parents have done for them.

1.Be able to use the pattern “ This is ...” to talk about their family members.
2.The correct pronunciation of “-ther”
III.Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up
1.Daily greeting.
T plays a song “I love my family” to elicit the topic of this lesson and attract students’ attention.
T: Class, do you like this song What is this song about
Ss: ...
T: That’s right. It’s about family. Read after me, family, family.
Step 2 Pre-listening
T introduces the new words of this lesson one by one through her own family photos.
ME
T: Look., who is this Oh, that’s me. Me, read after, me. me, that’s me. That’s me.
SHE+SISTER
T: And who is this Oh, She’s my sister. She,She’s +(student’s name). She is my sister. She is my sister.
T: Who is this This is my brother. Brother
...
Step 3 While-listening
1.T presents a picture of Sam ans asks Ss two questions.
T: Who is this This is Sam. Do you know there are how many people in Sam’s family
2.T invites same students to answer the questions then fur inquires who they are.
3.T plays the video for the students to find the answer.
Step 4 Post-listening
1.T plays the video again and asks Ss to read after it sentence by sentence.
2.T asks the Ss to read together.
3.T asks Ss to role play the dialogue in two big groups, then in pairs.
4.T invites some Ss to show their dialogues.
5.Group work : Introduce your family to your group members.
Step 5 Summary & Homework
1.T guides Ss to summarize what they have learned today
2.Homework
1)Say “Thank you & I love you” to your family.
2)Introduce your family members to your friends in English.
3)Listen and repeat the dialogue after class.
4)Finish the exercise correspondingly.
