III.Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up
1.Greetings
2.T gets Ss to review what they have learned in the last module by using two hand puppets.
T: Hello, my name is Panpan. I am a panda. How are you ... Here comes another friend. Good afternoon, boys and girls. I am a chameleon. What’s your name ... OK What’s this It’s a ... Panda. read after me, panda. (自然拼读法，并板书在黑板上). It’s a panda. Look, what’s this It’s a Chameleon.It’s a chameleon. (自然拼读加贴纸板书）
Step 2 Pre-listening
1.T guides Ss to learn a new module by asking a question (What can the chameleon do ) and playing a video.
Ss: 它能变色/ ......
T: Yes. It can change colours. Read after me, colours, colours. These are colours.（板书）Today, we are going to learn some colours.
2.T gets Ss to know the pronunciations and meanings of red, yellow, blue green & blue one by one through PPT.
T: What colour is it
Ss: Red
T: Read after me red.(自然拼读加板书). What colour is it
Ss: Red.
T: It’s red. (自然拼读it’s). What colour is it (老师指着一个红色的物品）
Ss: It’s red.
T: Show me red. (老师做show的动作，并邀请show的同学说这是什么颜色）

3.Sing a chant together.
4.Pair work (Find and describe the colours around us)
Step 3 While-listening
1.Listen and show the corresponding colorful cards.
2.Check Ss’ answer by playing the video
3.Let Ss read after the tape.
Step 4 Post-listening
1.T plays the flash twice and gets Ss to know how the panda and chameleon introduce themselves. T divides the whole class as two groups. One is the boy group and the other is the girl group. And then role play the conversation.
2.T leads the whole class read the passage again and asks student close their book. Teacher acts as the chameleon and students act as Panpan.
3.Group work : T gives out some different pictures and gets students find colors. Four people in a group.
Step 5 Summary & Homework
1.T guides Ss to summarize what they have learned today
2.Homework
1)Try to use “It’s ...” to describe colours around us to your family and classmate
2)Read after the tape and imitate the pronunciation
3)Finish the excise of Tongbulian correspondingly.
