读后续写之人物描写包含人物外貌描写及心理活动描写。
外貌描写
主要从人物的体貌特征(包括人物的容貌、衣着、神情、体态、姿态等)进行描写。包括肖像描写与神态描写两部分。肖像描写：即描绘人物的面貌特征，包括人物的身材、容貌、服饰、打扮以及表情、仪态、风度、习惯性特点等。是对人物外貌的一种静态描写。肖、像描写一般可以细化为对人物的衣着打扮、体型及五官的描写。比如在进行肖像描写时，要注意区分描写对象的 性别和年龄差异，用词准确。再根据人物性别及年龄差异抓住“五官”特点，写出人物面部 特征或根据人物性别及年龄差异运用恰当的比喻、夸张、联想等修辞手法神态描写：主要描写脸上的表情，是对脸部表情的描写刻画，描写时要用表示表情、神态的词语。是对人物外貌的一种动态描写。
心理描写
心理描写指的是对人物在特定环境中的心理状态、精神面貌和内心活动进行的描写。
人的情绪是心理活动的外在表现，可以通过动作、神态、环境描写等方式进行渲染。
即对人的情绪的描写需要从以上三种描写着手。

My dad, George, only had an eighth grade education. A quiet man, he didn’t understand my world of school activities. From age 14, he worked. And his dad, Albert, took the money my dad earned and used it to pay family expenses.

At home, my dad said, “A job’s a big step to growing up. I’m glad you will be contributing to the household.” My dad’s words made me realize that my earnings might not be mine to do with as I wished.
My labors lasted about two weeks, and the farmer said there might be more work, but I wasn’t interested. I decided it was not fair that I had to contribute my money.

This year, it was hard to tell whether my prize or the one chosen by my 14-year-old brother, Jason, was the winner. At first I got jammed just above my eyes and then, as I went on with my task, unwilling to quit, my nose briefly prevented entry. My excitement was short-lived. The pumpkin was heavy. “I’m going to set it down, now,” I said, and with Jason helping to support its weight, I bent back over the table to give it somewhere to rest. I am very delighted to enter my ideal school. For most freshmen, August is the month for military training, which serves as a good chance to get familiar with new classmates and adapt to campus life.
