Ⅰ 教材分析、学情分析
1. 教材分析:本单元主要学习用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情。围绕Amy和奶奶之间的通话展开对一般过去时的学习,内容生动形象,符合本阶段学生的特点,容易与现实生活结合进行教学。
2. 学情分析:四年级学生对英语学习有了一定的基础,好奇心和表现欲强烈,希望得到老师和同学们的肯定,巧妙挖掘身边资源并合理运用课件为孩子们营造语言交流的场景,能让他们在活动中感受成功的喜悦和学习英语的乐趣。
Ⅱ 教学目标
1. 认知目标:
1) 能听、说、认读单词:had, phone, cook, really, wash, did, didn’t, computer, love, him, What about…
2) 能正确识读动词过去式的发音。
3) 能听懂、会说I helped Mum. I cooked noodles.等一般过去时的句子。
2. 能力目标:能运用一般过去时简单描述自己和他人过去做过的事情。
3. 情感目标:培养学生在合作中学习英语的能力。
Ⅲ 教学重点、难点
1) 教学重点:能听、说、认读生词及一般过去时态的句子,并能在实际中运用。
2) 教学难点:熟练运用一般过去时简单描述自己和他人过去做过的事情。
Teaching Procedures.
Step1.Warm-up.
Greeting.
T:Good morning ,boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning Miss Chen.
T:Do you like singing
Ss: Yes
T:I like singing, too. Let’s sing a song: I helped Mum.
I was small, but now I’m big.
I was short, now I’m tall. I can help.
I helped my Mum. I helped my Mum.
Mum loves me. Mum loves me. I love Mum, too.
T: Good job. Big hands.
Divide-groups
T:I will divide you into four groups. You are group1/group2/group3/group4.If you do better, I will give you one point. Clear
Ss: Yes.
Step2.Pre-listening.
T: Shows picture1 about self, and asks Ss: Who is it
Ss: Miss Chen.
T:Yes ,is me. I was young, but now I group up.
T: Shows picture2 about T’s Mum, and asks Ss: Who is it
Ss: Your Mum/I don’t know.
T:She’s my Mum. I often help my Mum do the housework.
T: Presents pictures about housework. Please look at pictures: What do I often help my Mum
Ss: 扫地;cook noodles; wash T-shirt; water flowers
(Purpose: Review the old knowledge and lead to the theme of educating people.)
T: I helped my mum do the housework, my Mum loves me very much. Did you help your Mum
Ss: Yes.
T: You are a good boy and you are a good girl.So, Today we are going to learn Module 7 Unit1 I helped Mum.
Step3. While-listening
T:①listen and answer. In Amy’s family, there are three children. Please listen and answer the question: Who helped Mum on Sundays
(Purpose: Let the students perceive the text as whole)

②Listen and chooses.

(T Presents question and pictures with phrases on PPT.)
(Purpose: Develop student’s observation ability and enrich student’s language ability.)

(Purpose: Cultivate Ss’ ability of autonomous learning.)
Do a survey.
Group cooperation: The group leaders ask group members:
What did you help Mum Take notes and write down whole
sentences.

Step4.Summary
1.T:Let’s summarize what we have learn today.
(T combined the blackboard writing to guide the Ss to summarize.)
