Step1 Warm-up Sing some songs: 1.Hello. 2.Please stand up. The Ss watch and sing the songs together.
Step2 Presentation Show Ss some pictures to lead out new words. Such as: red, blue, yellow, black, green and it’s. T points to some things and asks “What colour ”. Ss says “ It’s ____ (and ____ ).” 3.Show the pictures of chameleon and lead out the new sentences“My name is_____. I’m a ____.” 4.Show a picture of Panpan and chameleon. And lead out the text. 1.The Ss watch and learn the new words. Such as: red, blue, yellow, black, green and it’s. 2.Ss learn the new sentences and discuss“What colour ” “ It’s ____ (and ____ ).” 3.Ss learn the new words: chameleon, my. And practice the sentences “What’s your name My name is ____. I’m a ______” 4. Ss know some information about chameleons. Ss get ready for learning the new text.
Step3 Learning text &Practice Play the video of the text twice. Q: How many colours did the chameleon get 2.Role play: Act out the text. 1.First, Ss watch the video carefully. And answer the question. Second, Ss watch and follow it. 2.Ss act out the text in groups.
Step4 Consolidation Play a game: 1.Finger game 2.Loud and low voice. 3.Magic eyes 4.Ask and answer. Ss play the game and practice new words and sentences.
