1. Where did you go on vacation 你去哪里度假了？
其中go on vacation意为“去度假”。
而be on vacation意为“在度假，在假期中”。表示状态。如：
I want to go on vacation in Beijing this summer.
今年夏天我想去北京度假。
My friend is on vacation in Shanghai.
我的朋友在上海度假。

2. anyone = anybody
复合不定代词，用在肯定句中，意思是“任何人”，用在疑问句和否定句中，意思是“有人”，这时用来替代 someone/somebody。
另外：anyone 用来作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。如：
Anyone in our family likes the TV show.
我们家任何人都喜欢这个电视节目。
Excuse me. Is anyone in the seat next to you
请问你旁边的座位有人坐吗？

3. anywhere 不定副词。意为“在任何地方”，常用在否定句和疑问句中。
辨析： somewhere 在某处，到某处，用于肯定句。
everywhere 处处，到处，用于任何句式。
I can’t find my English book anywhere. 我到处都找不到我的英语书。
Mary wants to go somewhere interesting. 玛丽想去有趣的地方。
I looked everywhere, but still can’t find your mobile phone.
我到处都找了，但就是找不到你的手机。

4. take photos 意为“拍照”。相当于 take pictures。
take photos of/for sb. 意为“为某人拍照”。如：
Could you please take photos of/for me 你能给我拍照吗？
5. quite a few 相当多，不少 。修饰可数名词复数。
辨析：quite a little 相当多。修饰不可数名词。如：
Tom has quite a few friends in China. 汤姆在中国有不少朋友。
There is quite a little tea in the cup. 杯子里有相当多的茶。

most of 作主语时，谓语动词的单复数形式取决于most of 后边的名词或代词的数。如：
Most of us are going to the zoo.
