★.探究:延续性动词与非延续性动词的区别
【观察】1.I’ve studied English for two years.
2.His father died a wwek ago.
3.The movie has been on for 5 minutes.
【发现】在英语中,延续性动词表示能够延续的动作,如:study,work,keep, read, sing,live,teach等。它往往表示经验或经历;非延续性动词也被称为短暂性动词、终止性动词、瞬间动词,表示不能延续的动作,该动作发生后立即结束,如:die,close,open,begin,come,leave,borrow,lend,start,marry等。它往往表示行为的结果。二者的区别如下:
延续性动词可以与“时间段”(for+时间段,since+时间点/从句)连用,而非延续性动词不能与“时间段”连用,但可以与“时间点”连用。
句中有“时间段”或since时,则应用延续性动词替代给延续性动词。
二者均可用句型“It is/has been+时间段+since+从句(从句中用一般过去时)”替代。
延续性动词与非延续性动词之间的相互转换:
Leave_ be away borrow_ keep/have buy_ have begin/start_ be on finish_ be over die_ be dead come/go_ be put on_ wear等。

【观察】1.He knows that he is no longer young. 2. We no longer live here.
【发现】 no longer 为副词,表示时间上的“不再;再也不”,通常放在行为动词之前,be动词、助动词或情态动词之后,no longer习惯上与延续性动词连用,相当于not… any longer. no longer与 no more同义, no more相当于not… any more 二者的区别为:1. 修饰行为动词时,no longer须置于行为动词之前,而no more则置于行为动词之后。2.no longer用来修饰延续性动词,而no more则用来修饰表示具体动作的瞬间动词。
【应用】用no longer或no more填空:

★.among与 berween的区别
1.among一般用于三者或三者以上的“在…中间”,其宾语通常是一个表示笼统数量或具有复数意义的名词或代词;between一般指两者之间,其宾语往往是一个具体数目的人/物,或者是由and连接的两个具体的人/物。
2.把两者以上的为数不多的人或事物单独地看待,用and连接时,要用between;把两者以上的人或事物看成一群、一堆或一组而不是个体时,要用among.
3.between也可用于三者以上的事物之间,强调一物与数物之间的关系。
4.涉及人或事物之间的区别以及人或事物之间的关系时,一般要用between.
5.当and连接三者或三者以上的人/物而仍然强调两者的并列时,常用between.
