信息技术的应用要做到有利于教师的教,有利于学生的学。在本节课中,教师利用多媒体技术,对教学内容进行了大胆地改革,以“活动为主题”,根据教学的需要,教师创设情境,设计了生动的任务,通过9个不同的步骤层层递进,活动之间有梯度,活动内容和形式丰富多样,层次清晰、重点突出,课堂气氛活跃;做到了 “信息技术辅助英语教学”,既方便教,也有利于学生的学。通过PPT的播放,采用任务型的教学方式,引导学生一步一步地完成教学任务。
信息技术环境软硬件要求及搭建环境情况
本课所需信息技术环境为Windows 7运行系统和软件Microsoft PowerPoint 2007,需要相关视频、音频和图片等多媒体素材。
学情分析:本节课授课的对象是初一(3),学生40人,学生的学习能力分布很不均匀,后面学习障碍生比较多,能达到15人,爱说、爱动,自控力弱。为了做到面向全体学生,做到:不抛弃、不放弃每一个学生的原则,教师根据这些实际情况,结合学生的特点,对教材进行了很好地整合,采用了“活动课”来进行教学。
教学背景分析《英语课程标准》(2011版)指出:加强学生策略指导,培养学生自主学习能力。在义务教育阶段,学生逐步形成有效的学习策略对于提高学习效果十分重要。发展有效的学习策略是英语课程的重要目标之一。教师根据这一重要目标对教材和学生情况进行了很好地分析。根据学生的认知特点和学习风格,整体安排了英语学习策略的发展目标,有计划、有步骤地指导学生发展具体的学习策略,把学生培养成为自主的学习者。本节课最大的亮点就是教师创设有利于学生使用各种学生策略的语言实践活动,使学生充分认识到有效运用学习策略对提高学习效率有积极作用。教师帮助学生不断尝试各种学习策略,课堂中能积极监控和调整,促进学生逐步形成符合个人学习风格和需要并能有效提高学习效率的英语学习策略。教学内容话题:动物词汇: animal, kingdom, cow, duck, elephant, giraffe, hen, lion, monkey, panda, penguin, pig, sheep, tiger, farm, wild ,rabbit, mouse, snake, cute, helpful, ugly, useful, blind, scientist内容:通过6种活动让学生能够谈论他们最喜爱动物。策略:以“My favorite animal”为切入点,进行大主题的设计思路,从而发散出6个核心活动,最后落到人与自然的关系上,让学生知道“保护动物,尊重生命”,树立保护动物的意识,人与自然共存。功能:能用英语做事情,用真实的语言进行心与心的交流。
教学目标
By the end of this lesson, most students will be able to:(1) Read and spell these words:cat/cats, rabbit/rabbits, dog/dogs, sheep/sheep, mouse/mice, snake/snakes, cute, ugly, smart, beautiful, scary, dangerous, helpful, interesting, useful.(2) Use the following sentences:①What’s your favorite animals ②…are my favorite animals. /I like...best.③Why do you like…s ④ Because they are …. They can…(3)Observe and describe animals clearly.(4) Talk about their preferences (5) Arouse their interest in talking about animals in English.(6) Build up the sense of protecting the animals.

Step1. Lead-in and warming-up 1. Try to set up a situational scene of animal kingdom: teacher ,the queen of animal kingdom, welcomes the 6 groups of animals performed by students warmly. Six groups of animals have their own gestures and flags.2. Teacher shows a piece of video from Kung fu Panda , then let students say out words about animals as much as possible . 3. Teacher shows some pictures of animals, and let Ss try to remember their names and places. About 30 seconds later, let Ss speak out their names quickly. The group which the student answers the question rightly can get 1 point. Ss try to be involved in the scene by following the instructions of the teacher.2. Ss watch the video carefully and speak out words about animals as much as possible .3. Ss try to speak their names as quickly as they can. Step2.Main words and turntable games 1.T shows pictures of animals and recognizes their English names with students. Then lead Ss pay attention to the plural forms of animals when describing pictures.(teacher let Ss chant these names of animals together or in groups)2. T writes down seven kinds of animals, then let the different groups of Ss put up the appropriate adjective words cards under the animals.3. Play the turntable games, then let Ss describe the animals which the pointer points to using the sentences” I like/don’t like …s, because they are… ” 1. Ss try to learn the main words about animals and adjectives, especially pay attention to the plural forms of animals.2. Ss take an active part in the games and try to describe the animals according to the clues. To let students learn and use the vocabulary in the games and make it fun. Step4. Pre-listening 1.Let Ss look at the pictures and table , then let Ss predict what they are talking about.2.
