一、定义：
一般过去时
一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。

二、时间状语：
一般过去时常与表示过去时间的词语连用，如yesterday, the day before yesterday, last night /week, three days ago, just now, a moment ago, in 2022等。

三、构成：
(1) be动词的过去式：am，is的过去式是was；
are的过去式是were。
