Reading (Ⅱ) School lives
Teaching Aims:
Lead the Ss to review the content of the two passages in School lives.
Let the Ss learn about new words, phrases and sentence structures of this text.
Give chances to Ss to tell something about their own school life.
Emotion Aim:
To develop students’ love to their school.
Teaching Important Points and Difficult Points:
Let the Ss learn and know well the key points of the two passages by themselves or with the help of the teacher.
Teaching Procedures:
Step1: Leading in
Talk with the Ss about their activities at school, then lead to this class’ topic, School lives.
Step2: Revision
Review the text by listening to it.
Check the Ss’ homework of text recitation by asking and answering question about the text and filling in the table on the screen.
Step3: New Knowledge Presentation
Give the Ss some minutes to discuss and find out the key points of the two passages.
Ask the Ss to tell the key points line by line, at the same time, explain them or make sentences with them with the teacher’ help.
Step 4: Practice and Consolidation
Let the Ss finish B1 and then check the answers.
Play a game with the Ss to continue practicing some key points or something about the text.
Step 5: Project
Let the Ss write articles about their school lives in groups.
Let some groups to show the articles by the form of “I act, you talk”.
Step 6: Summary

Ask the Ss to count their stars which are gotten by answering questions in this class.
The winning group can get the easiest homework.
Step 8: Homework
Finish B2 and B4;
Check over other groups' homework of today's (Groups with the most stars)；
Find out another passage about school lives, and take it to the classroom to share it(Groups with more stars)；
Write a conversation according to the two passages(Groups with fewer stars)；
Make up some practice by using today's key points, and work it out(Groups with the fewest stars).
