Later in the summer, Tom decided to go digging for buried(埋藏)treasure. He found Huck and told him all about the places that robbers hid their treasure and a treasure map.
One day, they decided they would start digging under a dead tree near the haunted house. They talked about what they would do with their treasure. Huck said he would spend his so his father couldn't get any of it. They dug for a while, and then gave up and tried another place. There's no treasure there, either. Tom realized they should return at midnight to dig again. As a result, the boys failed to find treasure that night. Finally they both agreed that the next day they would dig in the haunted house, and Huck believed they were taking chances to get treasure if they did.
They met again with their tools and went to the haunted house. They explored the downstairs, as they got ready to leave, they heard two men coming to the door of the house. Scared, the boys hid themselves upstairs to see who they were. They recognized one man. It was Injun Joe! The unknown man was saying something dangerous. Tom and Huck were scared to death, so they stayed quiet. The men were talking about some “work” that the unknown man believed to be too dangerous. Tom and Huck couldn't believe they were watching real robbers bury treasure! It included thousands of dollars in gold and treasure.
The men wanted to bury all their treasure again when Injun Joe started wondering why there were some tools in the house. Surely someone was there, he decided to hide the money somewhere else. He then started looking around the house for the owners of the tools. He was almost up the stairs when the bad wood broke and he fell down. Then the boys walked home quickly.

ChatGPT, a smart AI chatbot(聊天机器人) tool, has swept the education world in the past months. According to a US survey of more than 1,000 students, over 89 percent of them have used ChatGPT to help with a homework task.
Developed by US company OpenAI, ChatGPT is a powerful tool. You can ask it to write stories and emails, create recipes (食谱),translate languages, and answer all kinds of questions.
Some schools in the US, Australia and France have banned (禁止) the use of ChatGPT. In the US, for example, public schools in New York City banned students and teachers from using ChatGPT on the networks and devices (设备).
The move comes out of worries that the tool could make it easier for students to cheat on tasks. Some also worry that ChatGPT could be used to spread incorrect information. "It does not build critical-thinking(批判性思维) or problem-solving skills, which are necessary for academic (学术的) and lifelong success," said Jenna Lyle from the New York City Department of Education.
Apart from bans, teachers are making changes to their classes to prevent the use of ChatGPT. Some college teachers in the US try to include more speaking exams and handwritten papers instead of typed ones.
However, not all educators say“no" to ChatGPT. Some Canadian universities are making rules-how both students and teachers use it. They have no plans to completely ban the tool so far.
Bhaskar Vira, from the University of Cambridge in the UK, said that bans on Al software like ChatGPT are not wise. “We have to know that AI is a tool people will use. What we need to do is 'make our learning, teaching and examinations suitable for a new use'," he told Varsity, the school newspaper of the university.
62. Some schools in the US banned the use of ChatGPT because ___________.
A. students may use it to cheat on homework

A. ChatGPT might offer the wrong information
B. ChatGPT is so far the smartest Al chatbot tool
C. using ChatGPT is not good for developing students' minds
D. ChatGPT is necessary for academic and lifelong success
64. Which opinion is NOT mentioned in the passage
A. Using ChatGPT makes students lazy in thinking.
B. The complete ban on using ChatGPT is not wise.
C. ChatGPT will completely change present education
D. ChatGPT can be useful for both teachers and students.
65. How is the passage mainly developed
A. By comparing numbers.
B. By giving different opinions.
C. By describing charaeters' relationship.
D. By asking and answering questions.

It is easy for many people to catch a cold in spring or fall. It makes us wonder if scientists can send a man to the moon, why they can't find a cure for common(普通的)colds. The answer is easy. There are actually different cold viruses(病毒) out there. You never know which one you will get, so there isn't a cure for each one.
When a virus gets into your body, your body works hard to fight against it. Blood rushes to your nose and causes a block in it, so you feel terrible because you can't breathe(呼吸)well, but your body is actually eating the virus. Your temperature goes up and you get a fever, but the heat of your body is killing the virus. You also have a runny nose to stop the virus from getting into your cells (细胞).You may feel very uncomfortable, but actually your wonderful body is doing everything it can to kill the cold.
Different people do different things to deal with colds. In the United States and some other countries, for example, people might have chicken soup to help them get over the cold. Some people take medicine to stop different symptoms(症状)of colds.
There is one interesting thing to note---some scientists say taking medicine when you have a cold is actually bad for you. The virus stays in you longer because your body doesn't have a way to fight it and kill it. Bodies can do an amazing job on their own. There is a joke, however, on taking medicine when you have a cold. It goes like this:
It takes about one week to get over a cold if you don't take medicine, but it takes only about seven days to get over a cold if you take medicine.
76. When is it easy for many people to catch a cold
77. Why do people have a runny nose when they catch a cold
