Step 1 Warm up
1. Have a free talk with students
Q: What do you do every day
Are you getting bored with having lessons
Are you getting tired with doing homework
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show the pictures and learn the types of TV programmes.
Encourage students to say something about TV programmes one by one with pictures.
Teach: comedy, documentary, dialogue, real-life, drama series
2. Let students finish part A. Write down the types of TV progammes under the correct pictures.
3. Guessing game: guess other types of TV programmes.
4. Match game: Choose suitable TV programmes for different people.
Step 3 Practice
1.Play the record in part B and encourage students to choose correct answers.
2.Organize students to read part B and fill in the table.
3.Ask students to make their own dialogues about their favourite TV programmes.
Step 4 Presentation
1. Play the video of comic, ask students to watch the video and answer one question.
