Section C—From 1a to 1c教学设计
I.Material analysis
This lesson is part 1a to 1C of Unit 5 Topic 2 Section C. By reading and describing the activities being carried out in three places on campus, we present new words and matches, and review the grammar of this topic - the present progressive tense. Through the three steps of reading, we can teach students the deep understanding of the article, the overall grasp of reading comprehension and the methods and skills of problem-solving, so as to help students achieve reading comprehension without losing points and less points in the examination.
II. Teaching aims
1.Knowledge aims :
Master the new words, phrases, sentence structures and present continuous tense sentence structures in this lesson, and complete the exercises on the guided learning plan.
2.Skill aims:
Through games, group activities, intuitive pictures and so on, students can learn more about the rich and colorful campus activities
3. Emotional aims:
Encourage the students to take an active part in all kinds of the helpful outdoor activities.
III、Teaching important points:
掌握本课的新单词、短语以及现在进行时的句型结构;全面理解文章段落大意;完成导学案
IV、Teaching difficult points:
How to read and write the new words, phrases ;how to finish the guide book

Step 1 Review
1.通过句子 “What do you usually do in your free time ”的提问,了解部分学生的在校空闲时间都干些什么,有些什么爱好。

Step 4 . New lesson

Ss: Miss Wang is showing some students around our school .
板书:. Show sb. around someplace (并讲解)

Now ,let’s listen to 1a and finish the part 1 of the guide book.
2. (Showing the PPT 10) Listen to the article passage and choose the right answer.
After the listening , check the answer
3. Showing the PPT11 :Scanning in reading and finish part 2 of the guidebook, then check their answers.
4. Showing the PPT12:Skimming in reading and fill in the blanks of the part 3 on the guide book.,then check their answers.
5.Showing the PPT13:Intensive in reading and answering the three questions of the part4 on the guide book, then check their answers.
6:Showing the PPT14: Explain the key words, phrases, sentence structures and present progressive tense in the text, and write some phrases and sentence structures on the blackboard.
Step 5 .Summary

Let the students take out the summary mind map and begin to summarize the words, phrases and sentence structures learned in this lesson. Check the inspection summary

Through the teaching of this lesson, the overall feeling is good, but there are more shortcomings, such as insufficient opportunities for students to show, single encouraging language for students, students' errors are not corrected in time, classroom use needs to be strengthened, in the future teaching, we will learn from many excellent professors to correct their own mistakes. Sufficiently, let students learn more knowledge in 45 minutes of class.
