Section A 1a—2c教学设计
一总体思路:
本单元的核心话题为“volunteering”,围绕着主动提供帮助,以观察图片、听力理解、情景对话等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、围绕话题展开讨论等形式完成目标语言的输入与输出,学习volunteer, volunteer to do “I could ... ”, “I would like to......”等句型和一些重要动词短语为主要学习内容,并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动,让学生在交际活动中,学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议,重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。
二学习目标:
1 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词:clean up, city, cheer, cheer up, give out, volunteer, notice, used to, lonely,

2) 能了解以下语法:情态动词 could, should的用法;用 should或 could提出建议并对别人的建议作出评价。如何表达主动提供帮助。

Step 1 Warming up
1.播放志愿者进行义务帮助别人的活动视频,通过询问他们以下问题来引导学生们了解志愿者进行的活动

2.向学生展示中国青年志愿者标志图片,介绍志愿者标志的深层含义。
(设计意图:通过观看视频和图片让学生充分展开想像力,激起学生以下内容的兴趣)
Step 2 learn new words and phrases
利用图片,采取情景对话进行短语学习:

情景2:What could we volunteer to do at these places
引导启发学生通过图片展示和对话,理解并掌握短语help to clean up the parks.打扫;清除公园 They are hungry and homeless. We could help stop hunger.

Step 4 Listening practice
before listening listen and number Let Ss read the conversation in the picture. Get students know about the meanings of sentences to get ready for the listening.At the same time,introduce some listenning skills.
