A 情态动词should
should意思是“应该；应当”，表示劝告、建议或义务。
1 可用于任何人称，无形式变化，后接动词原形。如：

2 should的否定式：should not，可缩写为shouldn’t。如：
You shouldn’t stay up late every night.
你不应该每晚都熬夜。
We shouldn’t make noise in the library.
我们不应在图书馆里喧哗。
3 ought to和should两者的意思大体上相同，很多情况下可以互相转换，但也有一些差别。ought to更多的表示因责任和义务或按道理应该做的事情。should 则侧重表示某件事情适宜于这样做，属于一种良好的建议。如：
We should drink about eight cups of water a day. 我们应该一天喝八杯水。
We ought to keep our home clean and tidy. 我们应保持家里干净整洁。
You should do as he says. 你应该按他说的做。（出于良好愿望的建议）
You ought to do as he says. 你应当照他说的做。（责成或敦促）
B had better用法
had better是固定词组，意思是“最好”，表示劝告、建议或愿
望。
1 had better可以缩写为’d better，可用于任何人称，无形式变
化，后接动词原形。如：
You look pale. You’d better go to see a doctor.
你脸色苍白，最好去看看医生。
We’d better leave now. 我们最好现在就走。
2 had better的否定式：had better not，表示“最好不”。如：
Lucy, you’d better not go out at night.
露西，你晚上最好不要出门。
We’d better not tell him about it. 我们最好别告诉他这件事。
