Ask and answer some questions about their teachers and Ss try to describe their teachers.

Step2 Presentation and Practice Ⅰ
Show a picture of a baby, a candy and a happy face.
T says: Look at little baby. Is she happy? Yes, she is happy. Because she likes candy. And the candy is yummy.
PPT shows a short passage. And then the students will try to find out the words which left. The words are: baby, candy, happy, yummy, yellow.
2. Get them to find out the same letter in these words. The same letter is “y”.
3. Help the students to read these words carefully, espeically the sound of the letter “y”.
4. Help them to divied into two groups according to the different sound of letter “y”.
Step3 Presentation and Practice Ⅱ
1. Show a picture of little baby. T asks: Is the little baby happy? Ss:No, he isn’t happy. T: Yes. He is so sorry. Because he has no candy.
2. Teach: sorry.
3. Listen and repeat.
4. Show some pictures and let the students say the words ,then try to help the words find their home.

Get the students to look at the words and try to read them and then listen carefully and write the numbers in the circles.

Listen, write and say. Ss should listen carefully and fill in the blankets. Then they can choose one of the sentences from above and write.
