Grammar
一、定义:
一般过去时
一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。
二、时间状语:
一般过去时常与表示过去时间的词语连用,如yesterday, the day before yesterday, last night /week, three days ago, just now, a moment ago, in 2022等。
三、构成:
(1) be动词的过去式:am,is的过去式是was;
are的过去式是were。
(2) 实义动词用其过去式。
动词过去式变化规律:
1. 直接在词尾加-ed。
3. 重读闭音节,双写词尾加-ed。
2. 以不发音的e结尾的词,直接加-d。
4. 辅音字母加-y结尾的词,变-y为-i,再加-ed。
5. 不规则动词。

肯回:Yes, 主语+ was / were.
