Module 5 Unit 2 What are the kids playing
一、教学目标:
1.知识目标: 1)全体学生能够理解kid,catch,of course。
2)部分学生能够运用kid, catch, of course
2.能力目标: 学生能够听懂会说本单元单词并运用所学句型描述他人正在做的事。
3.情感目标: 学生乐于运用英语开展捉迷藏等游戏,体验学习的乐趣。
二、教学重难点:
1.教学重点:1)学生初步掌握所学单词:kid,catch,of course
2)学生能运用句型——What are the kids playing
——They’re playing catch.
2.教学难点:1)be动词后+ing的读音和理解。
2)表达自己和他人正在做的事。
三、教学流程:
Step 1:Warming up
1.Greeting
T:Good morning boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
2.Chant (Part 4)
T: Before the class, let’s watch and listen a chant. Then sing together.

Step 2: Lead-in and presentation
1.Lead-in (look and say)
观看Part 4的视频之后,呈现视屏截图T: There are some kids playing in the playground. So what are they doing (授新词:kid 接龙操练)
2.Watch, listen and answer (Part 2)
Q: What are the kids playing?(授新词:catch 男女生读)
A: They’re playing catch.
The girls are running. The boys are catching them.
Then show a picture to review the sentence: They are playing catching.
3.Watch and say
观看猫和老鼠片段,并将句子补充完整。
1)watch《Tom and Jerry》,then fill in the blanks.
T:Now, let’s watch a video about 《Tom and Jerry》.
Q: What are Tom and Jerry doing
Tom and Jerry are playing __catching .
Jerry is running .
Tom is catching Jerry.
2)If you want to join them, you should say
