To prevent the spread of COVID-19, health experts around the world say people should wash their hands properly. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests soaping up(用肥皂搓洗) for at least 20 seconds—or the time it takes to sing Happy Birthday twice.
Some people say jokingly that they might get tired of singing Happy Birthday so many times every day, and have suggested other fun ideas.
In Vietnam, for example, a song that tells people how to prevent the disease has gone viral(走红) online. It borrows music from the pop song Jealous by
singers Erik and Min, while the lyrics ask people to “rub(擦), rub, rub your hands” and “cut down visits to crowded places”. Many young people also use the song to record hand-washing dances, which include movements such as rubbing in between their fingers.
Singapore has a song called Wash Your Hands. It has lyrics like “Wash your hands, got to fight the virus all day all night.”
On Twitter, people are suggesting other 20-second songs to sing. For example, you can sing Beyonce' s Love on Top from the line “Baby it' s you” to “Finally
you put my love on top” which is exactly 20 seconds long. On some music sites, people have also made hand-washing play lists to encourage each other to fight against the virus.

COVID-19 has greatly influenced people' s lives since it broke out in late 2019. A lot of people lost their lives because of it. Schools, shops and restaurants were closed down. And people had to stay in their homes.

In order to prevent the virus from spreading, we have to improve our habits. First, we must wash our hands before meals. Second, we should get away from the habit of eating wild animals. And besides, I think we must use serving chopsticks while having dinner with others.
