Physical exercise is good for our mind, body and spirit. Today, working out through online videos is becoming popular. Since the Internet is widely used, that means we can work out anytime anywhere.
One of my friends, Lin Fei, followed short workout videos to do daily exercise. “With live programs, I feel like I’m working out with my friends, which encourages
me to hold on to the last minute,” she said. Another friend of mine, Michael, told me that workout videos let him feel so comfortable. “I have a fear of working out at the gym because I don’t like being watched by others. Working out at home makes working out much more enjoyable,” he said.
So I decided to give it a try. When I told my plan to my elder sister, a P. E. teacher, she reminded me that
workout videos could be helpful but might carry some problems.
“Without being with someone in person, you will be less willing to work out to your best. Working out at the gym allows you to have real guide and work harder,” my sister said to me. “Well, if you really want to have a try. First, choose proper programs or videos. That’s very important. Then ask your friends for advice. You should try different ways to work out to be healthy. ”
Finally, I followed an online workout program. After the first period of training, I felt it was practical and helpful when I worked properly. The Chinese men’s team won the 2022 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships in Chengdu, beating Germany 3-0 on October 9th, a day after China’s women’s team won gold at the finals.
The Chinese men’s team proved its strength by avoiding any defeat on its journey to the gold medal. The team lifted the trophy(奖杯)for the 10th consecutive (连续不断的) time and the 22nd time overall in the history of the championships. The last team to stop China in the finals was Sweden in 2000.
“I’m excited right now after winning,” said Chinese table tennis player Wang Chuqin. “The victory does not only belong to our players. The victory is the result of the joint efforts of everyone of the Chinese Table Tennis Association. I don’t even know how to celebrate now. I just want to thank all the fans who have been supporting Team China,” Wang added.
The victory was smooth, but Team China had prepared well for any possible difficulties.
“The journey to the finals was tough for both our team and Germany’s. The German team is very young, and their players are all at high levels. We made our best preparation for the hardest situation at the finals,” said Team China Ma Long.
