My Favourite Volleyball Club
Nowadays, we have more free time to take part in clubs at school.There are many different kinds of clubs, such as Reading Club, Drawing Club,Volleyball Club and so on. Among them, I like Volleyball Club best.
In the Volleyball Club, I’ve gained a lot. On the one hand, I have learned some excellent skills which make me better at playing volleyball. I feel much more confident now. On the other hand, I have made many friends here. We often play volleyball together after school whether it is hot or cold. I feel happy while playing volleyball. And it is also a good way to relax myself.
School clubs are becoming more and more important in my daily life. They make my life more colorful and meaningful.

Methods of learning English
As we all know that interest is the best teacher. I can’t agree more. My favourite subject is English. Here are my methods of learning English.
First, I usually watch English movies and listen to English songs. I think they're relaxing ways to learn the correct pronunciation and proper expressions.
Second, reading passages on the same topic helps a lot in learning new words. In this way, I can understand their meanings better.
What's more, it's a good habit to keep a diary in English. It not only helps me think in English but also improves my writing skills.
English is a bridge which connects the world to us. I hope I can make greater progress in the future.

A helping hand
During my growth, I always have the experiences of helping others and receiving help. I can still remember a story which impressed me most.
When I began to learn English, I found it hard to learn it well. I not only had difficulty remembering English words, but also could not understand English grammar rules. I felt stressed and I almost gave up learning it. Luckily, my English teacher Miss Wang talked to me about my English problems. She advised me to read English words aloud as often as possible. She helped me with my English grammar after school.
Now, I feel more confident in English, I am lucky to have a teacher like her.

The Power of an Example
It is said that a fine example has endless power. In my heart, Miss Liang, my Chinese teacher, sets a good example to me. She is so excellent that I have learned a lot from her.
Miss Liang is kind enough to give her helping hands to those in need. Her neighbor is too old to take care of himself well. Miss Liang often helps him with housework. When he falls ill, Miss Liang always looks after him carefully till he gets better.
What Miss Liang has done inspires me a lot. If everyone gives a little love, the world will become a better place. I decide to be a person like her.

Once upon a time, there was an old man called Yu Gong. Near his home stood high mountains which prevented him going outside easily. Therefore, he decided to move them away. Finally, a god was moved by their persistence and took the mountains away.
This story reminds us nothing is impossible as long as we put our effort into it. We should never give up on the way of seeking light.
