A. Object clauses introduced by question words
We use a question word to introduce an object clause that expresses a wh- question. The word order in the clause should be the same as that in a statement.

疑问词: 疑问代词(what, whom, who, whose, which) 和疑问副词(when, where, why, how) 可以用来引导宾语从句。疑问代词在句中作主语、宾语、定语或者表语, 而疑问副词多用来作状语。

【点拨】本题用语法判定法。考查宾语从句。句意:
—刚才我们英语老师和你说了什么?他问我______。答语是含有宾语从句的复合句,宾语从句要用陈述语序,先排除B、C 两项;主句中谓语动词用的是一般过去时,宾语从句的时态要与主句时态相呼应。
含宾语从句的复合句,主、从句的时态呼应包括以下三点内容:
(1) 如果主句是一般现在时,从句可根据需要, 选用相应的任何时态。
考点3 宾语从句的时态
I don’t know when he will come back.
我不知道他将何时回来。
He tells me that his sister came back yesterday.
他告诉我他姐姐昨天回来了。
(2) 如果主句是过去时,宾语从句只可根据需要选用过去时, 即一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时或过去完成时中的某一种形式。
The children didn’t know who he was.
孩子们不知道他是谁。
He asked his father how it had happened.
他问他父亲那件事是如何发生的。
(3) 如果宾语从句所表示的是客观事实、普遍真理等,不管主句用什么时态,从句都用一般现在时。
The teacher said that the earth goes around the sun.

一般问句表“是否”,if 或whether 来引导。特殊问句作宾从, 疑问词引导就可以。还有一点要说明, 陈述语序要记清。用Why not..., Why don’t you..., What/How about..., Let’s...和 Shall we... 来提出建议。
