Module 7 Unit 2 She couldn’t see or hear
一.教学目标:
1.语言知识目标
(1)要求学生会读、认知词汇:role model, born ,became, spell ,herself, all over
(2)要求学生能够理解并掌握句型I could …,but I couldn’t,以及在表达人能力方面的运用。
2. 技能目标
(1) 学生能够用could和couldn’t来描述过去自己能做和不能做的事情。
(2)通过学习可以根据图片词语卡片讲述海伦凯勒的事迹,进一步谈谈自己心目中得学习的人的事迹。
3、情感目标:
通过学习本课知识,学生能从主人公身上受到启发,只要面对阳光, 就不会遇见阴暗。遇到困境勇于面对,永不放弃。
二、教学重点:
(1)熟练听、说、认读单词:born, became, blind, deaf, role model, herself, spell.
(2)句型:She couldn’t see or hear.
三、教学难点:理解并正确朗读海伦凯勒的事迹。
四、教学准备:PPT课件、单词卡、课文视频动画
五、教学方法:任务型教学法
六、教学过程:
Step1、Lead in
(1)Learn the new words “born, became”
T showed the number 1985.
T:“Boys and girls , can you read the number ”
SS: ‘Yes’
T: “Wonderful! Let’s read it together”
Then T showed a photo of herself .
T:“Who is she ”
Ss: “Miss Qin”
T:“What do you think of Miss Qin and 1985, you may speak in Chinese.”
Ask one student to show his opinion.
T: Yes, I was born in 1985.呈现born 单词,并通过自然拼读法,开火车,词卡变位等多种方法帮助学生理解并操练新词。以同样的方法呈现新词became并教学。
(2)Present the key sentence pattern “I could...”“I couldn’t”
T showed a photo of herself when she was a baby, and ask ss to guess who she is. Ask one ss to show his opinion.
T:“It’s me too. Then I was a baby. Yes ”
T:“When I was a baby , I could see ”此处用动作帮助学生理解。用同样的方法引出句子“I could hear. I could eat. I could drink , I couldn’t read”学生在理解的基础之上朗读句子。
(3)新词blind, deaf ,role model
(4)T:“ I am lucky because I could see and hear, but there are someone .They couldn’t see or hear ”老师变讲述边用动作帮助学生理解。同时呈现图片邰丽华及阿炳, 引出新词deaf和blind 的教学。
(5)T:“Tai Lihua is deaf , but she is a famous dancer. A Bing is blind but he was a great musician, so they are role models for us, yes
教学role model.
Step2、Learn the new lesson.
1、导入新课。
1.Guessing.
T: Today we are going to learn another famous woman.
She wrote a book Three days to see. Do you know who is she
卡片呈现Helen Keller. 带读。
2.Task1:look and listen,then answer the questions.
Q1: When was Helen Keller born
Q2: What happened to her when she was a baby
检测答案并将关键词粘贴在黑板上。老师教读。并与学生一起复述第一段主要内容。
3.Feel Helen’s life experience
老师播放Helen 小时候的生活,让学生观看谈谈她的内心感受。
4.Task 2: Read and answer (Para2).
Q1: Who helped Helen
Q2: How did she helped her
同样的方法处理第二段内容
5.Task3;Read and answer(para3)
Q: What did Helen do then
同上。图片呈现Helen 学习,写作及旅游并反复操练 一方面帮学生理解加深巩固课文,另一方面承上启下,引出下面的Role model 一词。并出示雷锋等先进模范,再次深化主题。
5.播放课文视频,再次感知Helen的艰苦奋斗的一生。齐读课文。总结并做情感教育。
Step3: Production.
Talk about another famous person Yang Liwei in groups. Then choose the group leader to perform.
Step4、Homework
1、Try to tell the story of Helen Keller to your parents.
2.Remember the new word in this unit.
