一、单元教材分析：
本单元是《新标准英语》（三年级起点）第三册第十模块第一单元的内容，课文情景是快放寒假了，Daming送给Sam一本介绍中国春节的书，进而讨论春节的相关习俗。课文运用At the Spring Festival,we have a.......的句型来描述春节习俗。根据《小学英语新课程标准》提出的目标，激发和培养小学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，发展自主学习的能力和合作精神。本节课在培养学生学习英语自信心的同时，让其学会初步运用简单英语描述节日习俗。
二、学生分析：
四年级学生已经接触了一年的英语，对继续学习英语有兴趣，能用简单的英语互致问候，交换有关个人，家庭和朋友的简单信息，并能对日常生活话题做出简短的叙述。能在图片的帮助下听懂，读懂并讲述简单的故事，演唱简单的英语歌曲和歌谣，。能根据图片、词语、或例句提示，做出简短的描述。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教、初步形成对英语感知能力和良好的学习习惯。学生已经学过I have..的句型，对We的表达也有一定的了解，这也为本模块的学习做好了知识上的铺垫。
三、教学目标：
1.知识目标：（1）通过本课学习，学生能够听懂、说准、认读单词：family、dinner、the Spring Festival、Chinese、peanut、New Year。
（2）学生能够听懂、会说、认读句型：At the Spring Festival, we have a big family dinner. We say,”Happy New Year！”
2.能力目标：学生能在生活情境中运用At the Spring Festival , we have.....Happy New Year.等句型来谈论与春节有关的话题。
3.情感态度目标：学生能提高对我国传统节目的认识，培养爱国、爱家的意识。
四、教学重难点
1. 重点：掌握有关春节的相关词汇并能在正确的语境中表达节日问候。
2.难点：
（1）掌握the Spring Festival、Chinese的正确发音。
（2）能用At the Spring Festival ,we have ....句型介绍春节的风俗习惯。

活动一:Chant Listen and chant. 巩固At the Spring Festival , we have ....句型。
活动二:Text learning T：Look , this is a book from Sam. What’s it about Let’s have a look. Play the CD-ROM. Get Ss watch,listen and answer: 1）What’s the Spring Festival 2. Ss try to answer the question. (整体感知课文)It’s the Chinese New Year. 3..Show questions, listen and answer the questions or listen and choose.(带问题听录音，试着回答，进一步了解课文内容，为学习目标语句打基础。) 2）At the Spring Festival , we have a big family dinner. 3) At the Spring Festival , we have peanuts and sweets. 4) At the Spring Festival,we say:“Happy New Year.” 引导学生回答每个问题后连起来描述：At the Spring Festival , we have... (板书) 过程中渗透单词教学。 通过创设Daming分享介绍春节的书给Sam和Amy喜欢拍照并分享照片的情境，导出春节的话题。让学生带着问题听，由浅入深，逐渐熟悉理解课文，学习重点单词、语句。
Step4:Practice. Play a words game: magic hand； Watch,listen and follow； 3.Show some food,:Ss use the sentence “ At the Spring Festival , we have... ” choose one or two describe them； T:At the Spring Festival , we have a big family dinner.we have ......we say :“Happy New Year.” 让学生通过操练单词和模仿跟读来加深记忆，并提取重点句型来带入不同的图片进行操练，巩固句型，引导学生拓宽应用范围。
Step5:情感渗透 Let the student know,the family not only mean home,but also our motherland . T：We are Chinese. China is our motherland , we love it. 让学生明白：家不仅仅是意味着自己的小家，更应该心怀祖国。
Step6:Summary Retell the text: Today we have learn…. 用图片引导复述课文回顾巩固所学，加深记忆。
Step7:Homework 1.Listen and read the dialogues.Then try to recite . 2.Copy the new words.
