1、学习词汇south，west，parent，stay，July，June，并会使用方位词east，south，west，north；
2、学习句型I went to...last year.\This is .... It’s in the...of China.

（1）能读懂并理解课文内容。

（3）能用动词过去式表达已做过的事情。

教学重难点：
1、学习并会使用方位词
2、学习描述地理位置；
3、学习如何描述事情。
教学过程：
Step1:Warm up and lead-in:
Activity 1: Watch a video (播放视频）
Activity 2: Free talk1.T: What about you Where did you go for the holidays 请学生回答。展示三亚的地理位置，呈现新词south。接着依次呈现east，north，west。
Activity 3:Practise: east/south/west/north根据位置讲出对应的单词。
Step2:Pre-reading:
Activity 1:Watch and answer: Where did Lingling go last year
Activity 2:Look and say. 看一看，说一说
This is ________. It's in the _____of China.
学习新词:west和学习新句型：This is .... It’s in the...of China.
Step3:While-reading:
Activity 1:Read and choose:
1.Who went to Xinjiang Ss: A:Her parents. 学习新词parents.
2.When did they go there Ss:B: In July, last year. 展示日历，学习July.
3.What did she do there Ss:A: She stayed with grandma for a week in July.
学习新词:stay及过去式stayed 和学习句型：She stayed...学习如何描述过去发生事情
Activity 2:Read in pairs and fill in the blanks.

Step4:Post-reading:
Activity 1: Listen and imitate.
