教学目标 能够听、说、认读本课的重点词汇及短语: do the long jump, do the high jump, run a race, sports day,winner,star.(学习理解) 2.能够听、说、认读并运用本课的重点句型: I’m going to run a race. (学习理解) 3. 能够用本课所学谈论明天运动会自己想要参加的运动项目,以及谈论周末的活动计划安排,培养学生自主合理安排好学习和生活相关事宜的好习惯。(应用实践、迁移创新)
教学重点难点 重点句型的运用: I’m going to _______. (学习理解) 词汇:区分do the long jump及do the high jump的含义。(学习理解) 3. 所学词汇和句型在不同情景中的运用。(应用实践及迁移创新)
教学过程 设计意图
Step 1. Warm up Introduce a new friend --- Pangpang. Lead in the new sentence pattern and phrase: I’m going to make new friends. Step 2. Lead in Look at the calendar: Tomorrow is Friday, it’s going to be sports day! Lead in the topic and key point --- sports day / It’s going to ... Review --- Free talk ---What sports do you like ---I like ___________. Step 3. Presentation T presents the first picture of the story and guides Ss to listen to the audio. Guides Ss to find out what sports are they going to do Look and Say --- Picture walk T presents the pictures of the sports to lead in the key words, then presents the real pictures of the sports to Ss. 2) T uses some question chains to guide Ss to further reinforce the words. Like, “What is Sam going to do / Is Amy going to do the long jump or high jump ” At the same time, T will guide Ss to observe the picture and use critical thinking to compare “long jump” and “high jump”. T uses animation to presents the real situation at Daming’s school sports day to guide Ss to guess who is going to be the winner, and what are the Ss going to say. 3) T presents some stars in other fields to explain the meaning of “star” in the story. Practice T presents some sports games in tomorrow and guide Ss to use sentence pattern and key words to practice. Step 4 Innovation After sports day, you must be very tired. Luckily, the weekend is coming. (Saturday and Sunday) ---What are you going to do on the weekend T presents the wechat conversation with friends to talk about the weekend plan. Review the activities that Ss learned before to guide Ss use the sentence pattern in different situations. Step 5 Homework 通过改编书上的配图故事,将外星人作为引子切入,先引出重点句型:I’m going to ___. 为后面的内容搭好脚手架,做好铺垫。 通过图片的呈现,以及教师和Pangpang的对话,引出本节课的话题:sports day。再通过话题引领,唤起学生旧知,进行跟体育运动相关单词的复习。再结合本校真实的情况--- 明日的运动会,和后续的课文故事进行融合,自然的进行过渡和衔接。 学生带着任务进行听音,引出本节课的重点单词:do the long jump, do the high jump, run a race. 再通过真实图片的呈现,进一步巩固目标词汇。并为下一个教学环节呈现情境。 教师利用图片环游的方式,启发学生预判情景。引导学生用目标词汇和句型进行描述。 在新单词呈现的过程中,学生在老师的引导下通过观察图片和对比的方式,运用批判性思维进行思考,区分long jump和high jump。 通过PPT中动画的呈现,打造出大明学校运动会的场景,让学生预测大明将会参加什么运动项目?谁会是冠军?再次巩固本课的单词及句型。 教师通过呈现不同领域的明星来解释本节课中star的含义。 通过练习环节,进一步巩固本课目标词汇和句型。 运动会之后大家都很累,通过这个点,自然的切入到周末干什么这个话题。教师同时呈现和朋友之间的微信对话引出周末的活动(已学知识,外加一个新短语watch a film)。把本节课所学的单词和句型进行拓展,让学生学会知识点的迁移。 通过作业,让学生对本节课的知识进行再次的巩固复习及对知识点的迁移创新。
