Nowadays more and more people choose to read on their mobile phones or computers. E-reading has become a popular way of reading, especially among young people. There are different opinions among people as to e-reading.
Some people think e-reading is much more convenient than traditional reading. You can read quickly at any time or place you like. Also, you can scan a lot of information on the Internet. More importantly, it can save paper, thus protecting our forest resources.
Despite the advantages of e-reading, there are also some disadvantages discussed by people. Firstly, e-reading does not help to develop good reading habits. Secondly, the radiation from electronic devices will do harm to our health. Thirdly, if you stare at the screen for a long time, your eyesight will be damaged.
In my view, everything has its advantages and disadvantages. Whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages depends on what you want to achieve.
