对滴滴的罚款表明了中国保护数据安全的决心
China's cybersecurity(网络安全) official said that it had fined(罚款) Didi more than 8 billion yuan for breaking data security and personal information protection laws.
The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said its survey found Didi had illegally collected millions of pieces of users' information since June 2015, and carried out data processing that seriously influenced national security.
Apart from the over 8 billion yuan fine on Didi, the cybersecurity official also fined the company's founder and chief executive Cheng Wei and president Liu Qing 1 million yuan each.
Shortly after the fine, Didi said that it accepted the CAC's decision and would have a self-examination.
The tech company's penalty(惩罚) shows Chinese officials' resolution to protect cybersecurity, so as to develop the digital economy healthily, which is becoming a new driver of China's high-quality development.
As one of China's biggest and most influential tech companies, Didi, unfortunately, failed to take responsibility to protect users' information and thus hurt their trust.
Users' information including facial(面部的) recognition, age, photographs, jobs and short messages can be easily found and spread now.So, online platforms and high-tech companies shouldn't be allowed to illegally collect users' information.
Didi has paid a heavy price for its illegal practices.Hopefully, the case will be a new beginning for the tech platform and the others, and they will better respect and protect users' information, especially personal information.
1.Why was Didi fined
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Because it broke data security and personal information protection laws.
2.When did Didi begin to collect millions of pieces of users' information _____________________________________________________

4.What does users' information include
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
It includes facial recognition, age, photographs, jobs and short messages.
5.What will tech companies do in the future
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

(1)支持者:获取信息更方便,独立解决问题;
(2)反对者:浪费太多的时间,受到网络上不良事物的影响;

With the development of the Internet, many areas are covered with Wi -Fi. Should schools be covered with Wi -Fi Different students have different ideas.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
In fact, many students support this idea.They think it will be more convenient to get information.With its help, they can almost solve the problems they meet at any time in school instead of asking others for help.
However, some students who disagree also have their points.First of all, they think it is a waste of time.Besides, maybe something on the Internet will have a bad influence on some students who can't control themselves well.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
As for me, I think schools shouldn't be covered with Wi-Fi.If it is really around us all the time, some students may lose interest in study and spend lots of time surfing the Internet.As a result, they will fail in exams.
All in all, Internet helps people make progress in many fields, but if students can't control themselves well, it may turn their life into a terrible situation.
谢谢大家!
