The Dragon Boat Festival in Hong Kong
This festival has its roots in the Chinese Duanwu Festival held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Qu Yuan was an honest and loyal official in China who was framed by a corrupt prince. Disappointed that his beloved country was in the hands of evil men, he threw himself into a river. Fishermen tried to save him but were not able to. He was so well-loved that to prevent the fish from feeding on his body, they threw zongzi into the river.
