分析江西近八年中考真题可知，完形填空B命题特点如下：
1．词数：170～250词；生词：1～4个。
2．文体及话题：文体均为说明文；话题涉及环保理念(2021,2016)、异国文化(2020,2015)、做法建议(2019,2014)、理性思维(2017,2012)、科普说明(2018)、文娱体育(2013)。
3．考查点：名词：2道，考查填原形或者填名词复数；动词：2～3道，考查填原形或者变单三形式/过去式/过去分词/不定式/动名词；形容词：1～3道，考查填原形或者填副词；副词：1～2道；连词：0～2道；代词：0～2道；介词：0～1道；宾语从句的引导词：0～1道。
4．自2021年江西中考真题的完形填空B题量调整为11题，方框中的备选词汇调整为11个，需要变形的题量调整为2道，副词首次考查2道，且均不变形。

Step 3　分析句意及句子结构，确定所填词的词形
①如果所填词为名词，则需进一步判断所填名词的词形
②如果所填词为动词，则进一步判断所填动词的词形
③如果所填词为形容词，则需进一步判断所填形容词是否需要变形为副词
④如果所填词为人称代词，则需进一步判断所填代词是否需要变形以及变形的形式
