教材分析:外研社新标准(三起)第四册Module 6 Unit 1 第一单元的课文情境是Tom给远在英国的奶奶打电话。在电话中Tom询问了伦敦当天天的天气,由此谈到前一天的天气和那天奶奶做了什么事情,这些对话从一般现在时自然地过渡到了一般过去时,让学生理解并掌握Were you...,Was it...句型的理解和运用。
教学思路:这个模块主要学习一般过去时态的由be动词引导的一般疑问句的用法及回答。在上一个模块,学生初步学习了一般过去时态,学到了be 动词的过去式,我从学生的知识和生活环境出发多方面考虑,在教学环节设计上由易到难,环环相扣,层层递进,让学生在潜移默化中轻松掌握和巩固知识以及文化技能。
教学目标:
1语言知识目标: 能听、说、认读本课的重点单词:yesterday、out,well,thanks, sun, lesson;全体学生能运用Were you at home yesterday 谈论过去事物或人物的特征和状态。感知一般疑问句的语音语调特质。
2语言能力目标: 能根据课件、图片展示听、说相应的单词;能根据设计的场景运用Were you at home yesterday 询问过去实物或人物的特征和状态。
3情感、策略和文化目标:巩固英语中的称谓语和问候语,使学生乐于感知和积极尝试使用英语,鼓励学生积极合作学习,突破学习重难点。
教学重点: 理解并学会运用Were you ... Was it... 及其回答。
教学难点:1.培养学生合理运用”was ,were”对过去事物或人物的特征和状态提问的能力。

教学过程:
Step1.Warm up
1.Duty report.
T: It’s rainy today. Was it rainy yesterday (引出生词yesterday并教授)
引导学生回答S:Yes,it was.
2. Free talk
T: Hello,...! How are you
S: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you
T: I’m very well. Thanks.(课件展示well,thanks并教授这两个词)
2.Play a game: Guess the place.(Revise the word of some places)
T: Let’s play a game. Stand up and say the words as quickly as you can!
分组:home,supermarket,zoo, school , park , cinema ,
Step2.Presentation
1. Lead in
出示活动一的图片
T:Look at the boy. Where was he Do you know Let’s watch and listen.
Watch the video.
Listen and chant.(跟读动画1 韵句,并相机教out)
2. The boy was at out yesterday. How about you Were you at home yesterday 板书并带读课题:Were you at home yesterday
通过师生交谈引出Yes, I was. No, I wasn’t.
3.猜猜老师昨天在哪里。
T: Where was Ms Gan yesterday Can you guess (引导生用新句型Were you…yesterday 猜)
请几个同学来对老师提问。
3. 课文学习
Play the video of Activity2.Ask the students watch it.
Then answer:
1.Who are they
(Tom and his grandma.)
2. Where was grandma yesterday
3. Choose the right answer:
Was Grandma at home yesterday
A. Yes, she was. B. No, she wasn’t.
Check the answer.
T: Good.You’ve got it. She was out with grandpa for Chinese lesson.(教授 lesson)
(2)Listen and answer the questions.
Was it sunny in London yesterday
Check the answer.
Teach “Was it … yesterday Yes, it was. No, it wasn’t.”板书问句并进行问答。
T:It was sunny yesterday. Tom wants to play in the sun.

(3)Listen and underline the sentences of “Was/Were… ” 听并画出“Was/Were… ”的句子。
(4)Listen ,point and repeat.
(5) Read the text in roles play.(2ms)
Step3.Practice
Ask and answer in groups of four.
A: Were you … yesterday? B: Yes, I was./ No, I wasn't.
A:Was it … yesterday B: Yes, it was./ No, it wasn't.
Ask two groups to act it out .
Step4.Summary
1.今天我们都学哪些新单词,新句子?(巩固、总结)
2. 评价Who are winners!(根据学生课堂的表现给予合适的奖励进行评比)

1.Read the words and text.
