Unit 10 Colors 绘本What are you drawing 教学设计
(一)教学内容分析 本故事《What are you drawing 》以color为话题，讲述“我”和Mary一起画画送给妈妈的故事。通过故事让学生认识不同的颜色并作画是学生感兴趣的话题。
(二)学情分析 本课的授课对象是三年级学生。通过三年级上半学期的学习积累，学生积累了一定的词汇量，能快速地听懂上课指令。Colors的话题学生比较熟悉，教师在教学时使用游戏，竞赛，表演等多种方式引起学生的学习兴趣，引导学生在交际中动态生成，学生有话可说，乐于合作分享。
(三)教学目标
1.语言知识目标
(1)能了解故事大意，获取故事的基本信息。
(2)能流利地说出及运用故事中出现的词汇：draw, picture， red, yellow, blue, orange, green, purple, black, pink，brown以及句型I use...; Mary uses...并能在情景中正确地运用。
2.语言技能目标
(1) 能听懂、流利地说出故事中的生词和短语。
(2) 听懂和运用故事中出现的句型进行表达，提高学生实际的应用能力。 (3) 能阅读故事，并在阅读后初步复述故事内容。
3.学习策略目标
(1)通过猜测、小组合作等方式激活思维，提升自主学习能力，培养英语思维能力。
(2) 培养联系、归纳、推测的技能。
4.情感态度目标
(1)学生在阅读绘本的过程中享受绘本阅读，乐于阅读绘本内容，为今后进一步的绘本阅读打好基础。
(2)培养学生对妈妈的热爱，学会感恩，从而培养健康的情感。
(四)教学过程
Step 1: Pre-reading
1. Warming-up
2. Sing a song《Rainbow colors song》and dance T:“What can you see in the song ” 【设计意图】课前热身歌曲吸引学生兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。游戏引入今天故事学习相关的主题“colors”。
3.Talk about the cover of the book. T: What can you see in this cover T: Are they happy T：Why are they happy What are they drawing 引出标题——What are you drawing
【设计意图】通过各种问题培养学生有根据地进行读前推测与想象，为下一步学生阅读故事做好铺垫。
Step2 While-reading。
1. Show P2-3. T reads the sentence. T: Who is Mary Is he Mary Is she Mary T: What is Mary doing T: Oh, the colors are missing. Can you help her
2. Game“ Find out the colors”.
3. Show P4-7 and T reads the sentence. T: Good job. Now they are drawing. T: What are they drawing
4. Task: Make a rainbow together.
5. Now after finishing the rainbow, somebody comes. Who is she T: Show P8. What will she say Guess. Ss: What are you drawing
6. Show P9. T imitates the actions.“Wait and see, Mum.”
7. T:Let’s go on to draw the picture.
8. Show P10. T:It’s done. Let’s invite Mum.
9. Show P11. “It’s for you, Mum.” T: How wonderful the picture is!
【设计意图】第二次读故事，找出故事的结局，学习句型I use....; Mary uses.... 继续用问题的形式引导学生二读故事，并使用任务单的方法让学生直观地学习句型，理解故事。

【设计意图】分小组进行创编，教师通过设计小组活动让学生从不同的人物动物角度讲述故事提高了学生小组合作精神，让学生在有意义的情景中运用核心语言，突显语言的语用功能，提升学生的语言综合运用能力。
4.Extension Show the students a video about Happy Mother’s Day
【设计意图】教师通过展示视频，让学生欣赏歌曲的同时，感受到妈妈对自己的爱。
Step 4:homework. Draw a picture for your Mums and say “I love you ”to them.
