1、 教学内容：攀登英语阅读系列 神奇字母组合 Dragon and drum
2、 整体设计思路
本节课是一节自然拼读课，遵循“Reading is for phonics”的教学理念进行设计。利用春节小视频营造本节课的教学情境，引出本节课的两个主人公：dragon 和drum. 通过问题设疑引导学生阅读绘本，理解绘本，并结合绘本中出现的词汇发现学习字母组合dr的发音。最后通过不同层次的活动帮助学生掌握拼读技巧。
3、 教学目标
知识能力目标：能在图片的帮助下理解绘本，并能够用正确的语音、语调朗读绘本。能掌握字母组合dr在单词中的发音。通过blending等能够掌握初步的拼读技巧。
思维品质目标：能借助绘本阅读发展思维的逻辑性、批判性和创新性。
文化意识目标：能够对中国的传统节日--春节有一定的了解。并借助绘本故事情节明白事物之间相互依存的辩证关系。
4、 学情分析
在语言知识储备方面，学生在之前的学习中已掌握26个字母的发音和ar、or等字母组合发音，学生基本能够用Phonics拼读简单的单词。在学习技能方面已经基本掌握教师的课堂用语和指令，在多媒体课件的帮助下能听懂和读准英语单词和句子。在教师的指导下能完成一系列任务，并具备基本的小组合作能力。从学生的年龄特点上看，二年级的学生活泼好动，乐于模仿和表演，从教学设计上要符合学生的年龄特点。针对本课时的学习，学生对dragon和drum并不陌生，然而对它们的读音尚未接触，对于他们两者之间的依存关系也并不理解。
5、 教学环节与活动
Step 1 Warm-up

教师说指令学生做动作。
【设计意图】调动学生积极性，创设轻松愉快的学习氛围。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Lead -in the story
通过听听猜猜、解密码等活动了解单词drum和dragon.
【设计意图】在语境中感知单词。
1. Picture tour
教师通过PPT进行绘本故事的一轮图片环游。并提出问题：
What do they want to do 并让学生观察drum和dragon的表情和动作猜测故事
情节，进而慢慢理解故事内容。
【设计意图】培养学生的观察能力，引导学生预测故事内容，发现更多细节，启发学生思维。
1. Watch the video
从上一环节，学生得知故事的主人公之一dragon对drum的行为感到十分生气，教师由此提出问题：What will happen 通过播放故事视频，学生观看, 并回答问题。
【设计意图】完整感知故事的全过程。
1. Can you find
学生观察并总结出三个单词共同的字母dr，并感悟出dr的发音。
【设计意图】通过观察、发现、总结，培养学生的分析能力，发展思维。
1. Learn new words
教师带领学生在图片语境中学习新单词drum,drop, dragon, 并能把词汇放到词组ride the dragon, play the drum, drop the drum中呈现。
【设计意图】通过图片情境，进一步熟悉本节课目标词汇。
Step 3 Practice
1.Let’s chant.
教师播放一段含有字母组合dr的拼读视频，学生通过听、唱，配合动作，跟着视频巩固本课字母组合dr的发音并初步尝试拼读单词。
【设计意图】通过朗朗上口的chant，巩固“dr”的发音，为接下来的拼读奠定基础。
2.Try to blend.
教师通过PPT展示图片，学生尝试拼读。
【设计意图】学习字母组合dr的拼读方法, 尝试拼读单词，结合拼读活动变化操练dr的发音, 培养学生的拼读能力。
2. Read aloud
教师播放避雷的小游戏，学生大声并快速读出中国鼓中的单词，避开带有炸弹的单词。
【设计意图】通过趣味练习，及时反馈学生的拼读掌握情况。
4.Listen and choose
教师通过PPT播放故事中的句子，学生选择单词。
【设计意图】通过与绘本内容有关的听音选词的练习，让学生再次巩固新单词，并为下一步的故事阅读扫清障碍。
5.Try to read the story
学生两人一组读尝试读故事。
【设计意图】学生尝试着读绘本，为后文故事的输出和表演故事奠定基础。
6. Listen and repeat.
教师通过PPT展示,个别学生朗读，然后学生一起听音频跟读。
【设计意图】检测学生的学习效果，增强学生学习的自信心。
Step 4 Production
1.Act out the story
首先教师先选出2个学生分别演龙和鼓，剩余学生旁白，然后教师把学生分成六个小组，学生自由选择角色或者旁白。
【设计意图】小组表演绘本，通过形象生动的故事表演，培养小组合作意识，展示学习成果。
2. Think and say
首先教师出示问题Which character do you like Why 学生思考并自主回答。然后教师播放武汉疫情期间过年时候城市街道冷清，空无一人的视频，与往年舞龙舞狮的热闹春节场景做对比，进一步引导学生反思：If no dragon, will drum be happy If no drum, will dragon be happy
【设计意图】通过开放问题的设计，引导学生自主思考，并通过强烈的图片对比，引导学生明白：事物之间相互依存的辩证关系。
