A new study gave the answer.In the study,researchers showed over 2,500 participants (
pictures taken in both cities and natural environments.If these pictures included sunrise or sunset,the
group considered them to be more beautiful.
How did this happen "The moments we tested are short and unexpected,and we think this is partly
behind the results we're seeing,"said Alex Smalley,a researcher of the study.Watching sunrise and sunset
can change how people experience beauty,with an increase in feelings of "wow".Such feelings,the
researchers believed,can then improve their health.
"We're all familiar with the strong wish to take a photo of the amazing sunset.Our research shows
that getting up a bit earlier for sunrise or planning a walk to catch sunset could be well worth the effort,"
Smalley added.
Of course,the influence of such moments varies from place to place,according to the research.Those
who live in east-facing areas along the coast might find sunrise easier to see,while those in the west might
more easily experience sunset.But no matter where you live,just enjoy them whenever you can!
