一、教学目标
1. 能听懂、会说本课新单词under, in, on, room, bed, window, wall, desk,door, where,
chair, table.
2. 能听懂、会说本课对话 A
3. 会运用“Where is… ”“Is… ”询问和辨别物体方向。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:掌握表方位的介词,并准确地对事物的位置进行询问及回答。
难点:1.正确辨别各介词under, in, on的含义。
2.灵活运用句型询问事物的方位。
三、教学准备
单词卡片, ppt
四、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greetings:
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Xiong.
T; Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: IN this class, we will have some Pk, so we need to divide two groups. Group A and Group B. Team 1,2,3,4 are group A, Team 5,6,7,8 are group B.(将学生分为Group A , Group B两大组,,便于在课堂环节中适时给与评价,激发学生竞争力,活跃课堂气氛。)
2. Rhythm: One two three four
T: First, let’s warm up, please follow me:
One two three four ,clap your hands ;
Two two three four,stomp your feet;
Three two three four,nod your head;
Four two three four,hands on knees.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
Show a doll cat, and say “Look, this is a cat.” then hide the cat behind and ask “Where’s the cat” .ss may answer”It’s behind you.” put the topic on the Bb. And told ss “Where’s the cat” in Chinese meaning is 猫在哪里?And put the “where”word card on the Bb, too, told ss “where” in Chinese meaning is 在哪里.
Put the doll cat on / in/ under the desk.. Ask ”Where’s the cat
Guide ss to answer: It’s in/ on /under the desk.t
Put the “in, on, under” three word cards on the Bb, and teach them.
Show ppt, and learn words: room, window, desk, bed, chair, wall, door, table. At the same time, put these words cards on the Bb and teach them.
Oh, there are so many cards here, what can we do with them Yeah, we can play some games.
Game 1: Bomb
First, let’s read the game rule:
碰地雷
在跟读单词时,上面放有地雷的单词,不能读,如果谁不小心读了,就踩了雷,大家就数one, two, three, bomb向他砸过去。
After this game over, ask
T: Do you want to play another game
Ss: Yes.
T: OK, let’s play Game 2
Game 2: Golden finger 金手指,
Let’s read the game rule first:
老师领读单词时,每组依次选一名同学上来指,指对1个加1分,指错得0分。
游戏口号:Golden finger, golden finger, go go go!
When the game 2 is over.
T: Do you want to play other games
Ss: Yes.
T: OK, let’s play Game 3
Game 3: Frog squatting
T: As above, let’s read the game first.
每组依次上来12位同学,并发给每位同学一张单词卡片,老师和下面的同学读到哪个单词,那位拿这张卡片的同学就要蹲下去,如果没蹲或者反应慢就要淘汰出局。最后这组剩下几位同学就加几分。
When the game is over.
T: Games make us so happy, but we have some important things to do.
Step 3 A Listen and say
Presentation: Show a cat and Anne by ppt,
T: This is a beautiful cat, and this is Anne, she is looking for her cat. Can she find her cat Let's see.
Play the flash of A. After watching.
T: Did Anne find her cat
Ss:Yes.
T:Where's the cat
Ss: Kitchen.
T: Yes, it’s in the kitchen. But I don’t know the conversation meaning. Who can help me

Let’s count the scores for Group A and Group B, then we can know who is the winner.
